The lights of Veilstone beamed as the city buzzed with activity, nightfall had just taken the metropolis and activity was booming well on into dusk. Street lights, stop lights, neon signs, anything that gave off luminescence was on and adding to the city’s glowing exterior. One could compare the city to a bright gem in the crown of Sinnoh, but it was anything but with teh emergence of team Galactic. It was a blemish, officers didn’t confront the organization, the people didn’t contest them, Galactic had the entire city under its thumb with little to no contention and Trevor loved it or at the very least his interest had kept peaked when mention of the team came up. [break][break]
Yes, he was interested in joining the organization, in fact he’d join now if they would call him back or reach out to him, he was fascinated with their mission, and even mroe fascinated by one of their mysterious lower divisions, an apparent science division. As a student of Marine Pokemon, and Marine biology he was increasingly interested in what he could learn with the “evil doers”, their missions probably would allow him to travel to all of the lakes with an abundance of resources to further his study. [break][break]
As for Trevor, he leaned against the wall of Veilstone’s casino, possibly the only place in Sinnoh where civilians could gather and blow their earnings on games of choice for the off chance that they may strike wealth, fortune, and the chance at a new lease on life. It was pathetic. Like a school of magikarp, ever so impressionable, ever so easily manipulated people packed into the casino in droves to play silly little games only to be robbed blind by their own greed and desperation. Trevor could not sympathize with them, his parents didn’t partake in such events with his father being a ranger after all it’d be a blemish on his precious reputation to be caught gambling. [break][break]
If he wasn’t going to gamble what was Trevor there for? Simple,he had nothing better to do other than watch the fools come out of the casino disappointed and defeated. Though they would rarely stay that way as most of the people he had seen leave had come right back in a matter of minutes with more money to blow. Humans were such peculiar creatures… Perhaps he should sympathize with them, who wouldn’t want millions of dollars? Well of course there were other ways to earn it… Eh not his problem. [break][break]
The cobalt haired young man sighed, as he straightened from his leaning posture and walked and began making his round back to his hotel room. Watching as people buried themselves in debt was only fun for so long. That and it was almost lunch time. [break][break]
As he leisurely walked down the sidewalk the crowd was still as thick as it always was in the crowded city and with the thick crowd came even thicker thieves. A boy bumped into Trevor, hastily apologized and sprinted off. Trevor had felt one of his empty shrunken pokeballs, slip out of his pocket, a thief, of course it was a thief. The thieves in this city were thick, but only in their heads. How could they expect to pickpocket anyone using the most basic of all tricks. As the young man ran off he cut into an alley, Trevor however was hot on his trail. [break][break]
In his pursuit he didn’t pay any mind to the group at the end of the alley, two men pestering a woman. The thief cut between the group managing to avoid contact .with the conversing people, Trevor, however, couldn’t hold his momentum and the tall young man bowled over the pestering gentlemen. All three of them fell onto the ground, at a glance it had looked like Trevor had tackled them, but it was merely an accident though the thugs had been… Well ran over.
