Not so average...

Trevor was born into an overbearing and overprotective family, his parents would constantly pressure him to attend college and earn his degree. He did not entertain their demands entirely, as he had found it very well due to difficult to please them, though did average academically. His parents began to become increasingly disappointed in their child, and continued to put pressure to succeed. His folks had several children, but oddly enough they had chosen Trevor to be their mill ticket. The pressure eventually drove him to detach himself from his parents despite doing better in school.[break][break]

His childhood was normal as it consisted of mostly bullying from his older sisters which eventually led to his fear of women and easily embarrassed nature. The bullying was ignored by his parents, but they had no problem pushing him into sports, he didn’t like baseball, basketball, or any other sports his parents had forced him into, but when he had gotten a wind of fishing he took to it immediately. This new sport would become an outlet for him in a sense, as catching Pokemon from the sea could entertain him for hours.[break][break]

Once he entered his teens and had entered High School, the bullying only got worse. He would leave home early and would find himself fishing more often outside of the Pastoria high fishing club. Sometimes he would be gone for hours and once stayed away for an entire weekend camping out beside the marsh. He grew to care for his parents more when they eventually eased on the pressure. When he was two years into high school, he had a few hiccups like any other teenager. He ended up being thrown face first into bad crowd led by one of the meanest women in his school. However, he did not mind it. He would reserve himself, as for whatever reason the leader of his new group of friends had taken a liking to him. The group eventually turned into a “gang” and became quite die-hard in what they did. They took pride in what they did, and enjoyed poking at others for fun. He was reluctant to become one of them, and eventually would attempt to leave alongside the leader. Though being in a gang had its perk, he had managed to obtain a totodile in a pond near the group’s ‘hideout’. [break][break]

His parents would have none of it sought the help of the authorities to fish their son back from the tainted hand of the girl that had him wrapped around her finger. Oddly, the authorities that had caught him, had retrieved him when he had left the gang, but that didn’t stop them from eventually finding the hideout and raiding it empty.Despite not being heavy in the gang’s operations he was sentenced to community service, caring for abandoned Pokemon in a shelter eventually teaching him the joy of caring for those with less than himself. Things had gone north for the Knight family with him leaving the gang, his sisters going on to college and he deciding to become a Pokemon trainer full time, though out of care for his parents he agreed to eventually attend university. [break][break]

To his surprise, his parents were thrilled with the idea. They had stopped seeing him as a millticket and treated him like their son, their plain, cowardly son. As a graduation present they had bought him a supplies to go on his journey and enough money for him to begin his journey. Though the presents didn’t end there, with a phone call and a last sign of good will his parents had given him a a bermite to assist him on his journey. That and having a foreign Pokemon would apparently make him more appealing to colleges. [break][break]

Once he reached was outside of Pastoria he had found out two things. One, the bergmite was just as indifferent as him, mostly sitting in place and not moving an inch outside of battle and two, his parents never bothered to call him, but his damn sister would always call to tease him all they way from Kalos. When he saw her, he was going to rub his success in her face! If she didn’t beat him into a pulp.[break][break]
