major news alert!
witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
A few days had passed since the destruction of the old chateau, it had made the news all over Sinnoh and even some more worldwide news was reporting it. Of course when Orvis heard of this, he was devastated. He too had taken part in the ghost hunt event, although his took place in the lost tower. Personally, he thought the lost tower was quite rough, though obviously not as bad as this place.
Soon after he heard, Orvis came to the place to see for himself just how bad it was. It was bad. Rubble, wood and plenty of burnt grass. Everywhere he looked was just empty, there were no signs of pokemon anywhere... It was heartbreaking.
So of course it was only natural for a pokemon lover to do something about it. He knew it would be tough, but it wasn't impossible. Gathering many flyers, sending out as many messages as he could online, Orvis had been trying to gather some volunteers to help rebuild the place. He was amazed at all the feedback he got, even a few sponsors from some big companies like 'poketch' and local businesses.
So now was the big day, they had the materials they needed and people from all over the place had turned up excited to start working. A bunch of trucks had parked close by, full of wood, bricks and iron. Orvis knew it wouldn't be exact, but hey, it would at least be something for the pokemon right?
"Okay everyone! Listen up!"
Orvis hopped on top of one of the piles of wood so everyone could see and hear him. In his hand was a small clipboard of all the things everyone had to do.
"Firstly, I'd like to thank you all so so much for coming today! In such a short amount of time, we've managed to raise enough money to build our closest copy of the chateau we can! I know it's going to be hard work, but with the help of us and our pokemon, I know we can do it!"
Going through the list of tasks, he'd then shout out what they all had to do.
"Okay, most of the debris has been cleared but of course some bits remain. We need to start off clearing a space before we start with the main frame."
And with that, he hopped down. Orvis then sent out his skarmory, knowing he'd be able to pick up some of the left over wood with his claws or beak. His other pokemon weren't very good at lifting heavy objects... .

我是我的魔鬼
CINDERELLA WHO LOST BOTH HER SHOES
Colette was here for two reasons.
The first was because she felt terrible about what happened to the Chateau. I mean, she nearly burned to death in there if not for the help of a certain ranger. Secondly, a little Starly told her that there was a campaign to restore the old house to it's former glory. It's former, creepy as hell glory. The Old Chateau was like.. A monument of sorts. Not only that, but many pokemon made it their own home. Colette was running down the path of Eterna Forest with Mistral out of her pokeball, the woman actually catching onto the Altaria's legs when she jumped off ledges. Luckily, Mistral was strong enough to carry her down to safety; by no means was her trainer heavy, it was more of the fact that Altaria was only 3'7".
By the time she arrived, she was actually impressed with the amount of people who were rounded up. It looks like everyone wanted to pitch in and rebuild that old house as shelter for the pokemon. Just the sight was enough to touch her heart. Ah, it was so sweet of them! "We need to help too, right Mistral?" Colette chimed, glancing upwards at the floating bird pokemon. She let out a chime in response, and the two of them decided that they would be joining the crowd up ahead.
Her attention was captured by a brunette man, standing on the top of a pile concentrated with debris. His voice boomed over the crowd of people; all people who were ecstatic to begin working.
"Firstly, I'd like to thank you all so so much for coming today! In such a short amount of time, we've managed to raise enough money to build our closest copy of the chateau we can! I know it's going to be hard work, but with the help of us and our pokemon, I know we can do it!"
He hollered out, and the crowd stirred just listening to his encouragement. After the little orders were given, they dispersed and began moving things their own way. Some people got their pokemon to do it either physically, or with the use of a convenient psychic. There were few who tied ropes to their bird pokemon to lift the heavier things, and then there were just those who were picking up sticks and stones to 'clear up the land'. Everyone was contributing, and Colette felt like she were falling behind. It was only then did she realize that she didn't have any pokemon who could really be much of help. Effie's couldn't move things, Coro's string shot only helped with holding things together, Comet was good at making noise, and Mistral was.. Well.. As useful as a cotton bird was. Disappointed, Colette looked over at a pile that people were picking up debris from and walked right on over.
Maybe she could try moving this herself? It was certainly an option, but the question was if she would be able to physically do the work. Mistral was just picking up some objects with her beak as she kept an eye on the Colette who hugged onto a few burnt planks. "Don't worry! I got it!" She exclaimed, however being the little ignorant airhead she was, she ended up bumping into the back of someone. Mistral just.. Shook her head slowly and caught her trainer before she could hurt herself by extending her wing to act as a cushion (assuming that she wasn't caught or otherwise). Didn't know who she bumped into, but it was best to apologize!
But in the fall, the pieces of wooden planks had dropped and scattered on the ground before her. "Ah! I'm sorry! I didn't see where I was going and erm.. Are you okay?"
SOMEONE WILL COME TO TAKE YOU HOME VERY SOON.
by Mizo.❉ of ww she could have bumped into anyone.
Things were going well so far. Strong pokemon were lifting heavy objects with either sheer strength or with unique abilities, everywhere he looked was determination and excitement to see the final product. Orvis was also getting involved, passing chunks of wood to Zephyr who then flew back and forth to the skips.
"Good job buddy!"
So far, it was the big lumps of wood that were being moved, probably because it was the easiest to hold onto and appeared to make the biggest difference. The most annoying part of it all however was the ash and small splinters scattered across the ground which were a pain to pick up, but Orvis had an idea.
"Come on Lotan, use whirlpool! Hecate, you use confusion!"
The clamperl and chingling were sent out, making a cute sound as his shell spun around and around. After a moment, water burst out from the shell, spiralling around him as it started sweeping up the little bits of debris. Then the chingling released her psychic powers to gather up all the water into a spherical shape before dropping into one of the skips. Just like that, the majority of the dirt had gone, all that was left was some soggy grass and a wet concrete base that the chateau is being built on.
"Hmm... I know, Chaac, use sunny day to dry this place up."
It was almost like a little performance, Orvis sending out almost all his pokemon to help with cleaning the mess. The little castform did his job, the hot rays shining down which would quickly dry it up.
"There! Now to just get any last scraps- Oh!"
Something had bumped into him, as he turned around he realised it was in fact 'someone'. A young woman who had dropped planks of wood onto the ground, right before being caught by an altaria.
"No need to apologise! Good thing that pokemon of yours is super soft haha! My name's Orvis by the way."
His hand outstretched ready to greet her.
"I'm so glad you could make it today, I appreciate all the help we can get."

[attr="class","jarluctext"] Lark, having heard of the Chateau's demise, had decided to aid in the volunteer effort to rebuild the monument, or at least essaye to restore it to its previous glory.[break][break] He'd glanced at the scene of the burnt Chateau, horrified as he regarded the burn marks, the shrivelled grass, and the obvious signs of struggle. Was that...blood on some of the fallen beams? He felt slightly queasy just looking at it.[break][break] The handsome man who'd gathered them together was well-organized, and quickly directed people to help with clearing some of the debris so they could rebuild the frame. Lark gave a faint smile as the action to clear the debris was given and he glanced at the two pokemon at his sides.[break][break] "Sylvia, please use psychic and move the larger beams out of the way. And Oscar, your strength will be very useful in aiding the other strong pokemon to move the debris." Lark gestured towards the debris and his pokemon quickly got to work. Sylvia hummed quietly under her breath as she directed large, fallen beams towards the edges of the area. Oscar was...well, wild... and he'd gone from lugging large chunks of wood to having speed competitions as he picked up as many of the small, fallen pieces as possible. Lark aided in lifting some of the heavier beams, but he himself was not very strong and thus he was thankful that his pokemon were so cooperative and helpful.[break][break] The ash and debris that remained would be troublesome. Lark was going to direct Sylvia to use psychic again, but the golden-eyed man from before had already directed his pokemon to use Whirlpool and Confusion to sweep away the ash. Lark's eyes widened with amazement as the man took out a castform. Lark had not seen one in person directly before, and he had to admit that it was a useful little pokemon.[break][break] Then a young woman, dark haired, nearly fell over as the wood she was carrying scattered. Lark glanced at his petite ralts. "Sylvia, Psychic. Let's help her out." Sylvia directed her psychic prowess at the fallen timber and with ease, lifted it into the air with her mind and removed it from the area. Lark smiled and gave her a loving pat. "Thank you, Sylvia, Oscar."[break][break] However, even though the girl had been caught by her Altaria, it was still a courtesy call that told Lark to approach her and the organizer. [break][break] "Hello," he said softly to the two. He then directed his next question to the girl, brow furrowed in concern. "I saw you fall a little - are you all right?" Once he affirmed after a glance that she was not hurt, he smiled at the dark-haired man. "Thank you for creating this initiative. The demise of the castle is indeed a tragedy...I'm glad that I can help out," he said. Sylvia tugged at his kimono and he gave her a kind smile.[break][break] "What is our next step?" he asked, noticing that his Mienfoo had already set about to picking up the smaller bits of debris. The question was directed at the man - Orvis, if he'd heard the man's introduction to the girl correctly. "If there's anything major that might require the aid of a psychic type, Sylvia is willing to help out."
