i am a lion and i want to be free lion do you see a lion when you look inside of me? Waifu Hunter
Glowering lights illuminated the metropolis, the buzzing of idle conversation between people livened the city up. It wasn't his sort of place, but he didn't come here to listen to the petty conversations of locals...
No, today he had a mission. Find the Galactic base, and after some searching, he was on the trail. There wasn’t much that could explain the search through the illuminated city as street lights, stop lights, and every other light beamed on the searching brunette. Honestly, he figured if he came in, said little, and showed a lot one of their recruiters would just give him a job. Though he was fine with the idea of just taking one, they needed grunts right? No matter it was his choice to come here, and if they declined he would stay until they said yes. Or forced him out.
His meeting with the pink haired one had left a mark on him, she was someone with a purpose in this life, she wanted things, she never said so, but she did. She had something he wanted, a certain freedom that he lacked. The freedom to not live in fear. A constant fear that had managed to find its way into every day of his life (and every post) he needed something to help him conquer his fears and what better than a crime syndicate bent on destroying the world? Or bending time? He wasn't too sure about what they did, but he wanted a job none the less.
If things didn't work out here he would head to the Rocket base and if worst came to worst the rangers, he didn't hate rangers but after the little stint his parents had pulled by sending them after him when he was younger he had an issue with those red uniforms. He didn't HATE rangers, he simply detested them. They were the authority and he didn't like it. He respected them, but didn't respect the badge and for that he had his one run in with the law. One he'd probably com to regret.
Trevor stared up at the sky and back down to the locals that passed him by as he sat on the bench of a ghost type Pokemon themed cafe. Ghost-type Pokemon, with well developed physical manifestations served coffee, tea, and other beverages. This didn't bother Trevor, ghost type Pokemon were simply that, Pokemon. They were just that, Pokemon, some born that way, others the result of the death of a another type. A strange type they were.
Putting his cup up to his lips, his dark visage peered up at the night sky. The stars were blocked out thanks to all of the bickering lights. But he had found comfort and solace in this city. No matter how crowded it felt like his home away from home. Maybe he could become a Galactic after all, especially if he could feel this way more. The heat he felt was amazing, especially on a cool fall day just before Halloween. It wasn't physical heat but a sort of comfort that had overtaken his senses. Was he getting too comfortable here?
He yawned and put down his cup, perhaps not.

IM NEVER CHANGING WHO I AM "keep your voice down, milo!" shouted the superior, but milo just laughed. if it was an admin he might be fearful, but spies were easy to placate and anger and keep on a never ending cycle of angry but not angry enough. being cheeky had flaws and plus points, but milo was a master of the art and enjoyed seeing the swinging range of emotions he could feel from the ever-varied galactic spies. "relax. this city's ours, isn't it?" milo asked, albeit haughtily. his tone was low enough to be casual but still loud enough to be heard. this remark earned him a dirty look, but he knew he played his cards right. there was nothing that an offhand statement exemplifying devotion towards the cause couldn't get him, and the blue haired boy was sure to toss in an endearing smile to reel the fish in. realizing that all that needed to be said had been said, he switched tactics. "man, c'mere." he extended his arm out for a nice handshake, a gesture that was as natural as it was fake, and then quickly pulled his officer into a hug. in that brief minute a small package was placed in his coat's pocket, done with quick and subtle efficiency. the night, it would be practically invisible. milo beamed at the older gentleman. "have a great night, steve." he waved. lies, of course. galactic had little camaraderie-- even less so than rocket did, apparently. there was no way he knew this man's name, and even if he did it was likely an alias. this business was sketchy...but it was blooming all the same. humming lightly, milo would watch as the man disappeared into the crowd, becoming just another passerby on the busy intersection. he turned around and walked away, moving past the park bench were another stranger sat..... [break] “I wonder if Galactic has a application process...” He thought aloud, receiving a stare from a passerby. Why was it so taboo to want to be under Galactic? From what he knew they had done maybe one, two dirty deeds in the region so far, yet a ranger took part in the destruction of a national landmark and not get arrested or even questioned from what Trevor had seen. He sipped from his cup once again, the warm liquid partially splashing against his upper lip. Perhaps he’d get a refill, whatever they were serving was giving him quite a thrill… Or better yet not burning him going down. [break][break]
He spotted two men bickering about something, There was something a miss, as they hugged and with a gentle pat of sorts it seemed something was exchanged, not that it was any of Trevor’s business, nor should he have been staring as long as he was, but curiosity got the better of him and he tuned into the odd behavior anyway. [break][break]
The two said their goodbyes, and parted ways. What was that about? Trevor ‘s eyes locked onto the younger man as he walked past him. Curiosity was a hell of a drug, and Trevor’s had been peeked. He waited for some distance to come between them, before making his move. To conceal his attentions he kept his coffee in hand, or he was still thirsty, either or. He followed the man, at least six body lengths behind him, enough to keep him in the crowd yet close enough for him to keep his eyes on the sneaky blonde. [break][break]
