witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
Caine lifted his hand to block the sunny, bright rays that plagued his eyes. The dazzling sun was far too bright for his liking. Mainly due to the fact that he was wearing thick clothing to keep away the autumn chill. The leaves of the trees that lined the path of Route 211 were already fading to brilliant orange.[break][break] He shivered and hitched his scarf up a little higher. His thick woolen glooves kept his hands warm, at least, and all he needed was a little exercise and fresh air. It was one of the reasons he had come out for a walk. Plus, the prospect of finding pokemon was entrancing.[break][break] He set off at a brisk pace, his feet crunching the dead leaves that fell before him.
[attr="class","jarcainereply1"] Caine heard rustling in the grass and noticed a purple head armed with pincer-like jaws emerge from the shrubery. Caine instinctively went for the pokeballs at this side, and he grabbed one, releasing the charmander hidden within. "Let's get 'im, Byrn."[break][break] The charmander growled in excitement, the flame on its tail burning brightly. The skorupi regarded the fire pokemon warily, waving its tail defensively. Caine didn't really want a skorupi, but his party was bare and he needed additions to it.[break][break] "Flamethrower." Caine uttered. The fiery lizard obeyed, striking the skorupi with a blast of fire. The scorpion pokemon hissed with displeasure and used bug bite, but it wasn't very effective. Caine grabbed a spare pokeball and chucked it at the skorupi, who was shaking its head as if trying to cool its burnt forehead. In a bright flash, all that remained was the pokeball, wriggling on the ground before finally coming to a stop.[break][break] Captured Skorupi

[attr="class","jarcainereply1"] Caine hefted the newly caught skorupi and attached the pokeball to his belt. "Awesome job, Byrn!" he said to the little charmander, who cooed back with delight. The fire lizard withdrew into its pokeball and Caine proceeded along the path.[break][break] The path opened up to reveal a large, grassy area, with rubble-shaped rocks that dotted the miniature meadow. And smack in the middle, making excited ch-ch-ch noises, stood a meditite, twirling about as if in training. Slowly, Caine brought out his second pokemon. "Come out, Merlin!"[break][break] In a flash of light, the aron emerged, tossing his head pompously. Caine chuckled at the aron's flashy entrance. "Merlin, use Earthquake!" The pokemon growled, and as the growl crescendoed, so did the trembling that had begun. A great crack split the earth, but it missed the Meditite completely.[break][break] Meditite did not look pleased, and it attacked with Confusion, taking down some of Merlin's health. Caine gritted his teeth with frustratiojn. "Let's try it again. Earthquake!" This time, a gap opened right underneath the Meditite's feet, causing it to fall into and get trapped in the miniature ravine. "Good job, Merlin!" He said, recalling his Aron. Caine swiped another pokeball and gently touched it to the lodged Meditite's head. [break][break] Captured Meditite

He stashed the pokemon away onto his belt.[break][break] "Merlin, come back!" he called. The pokemon obeyed, retreating into the pokeball. Caine smiled and continued on his way.[break][break] The trees were large, creating a canopy of red and orange. It was breathtaking. Caine glanced to the side and spotted a big, fat caterpie holding onto a tree trunk.[break][break] However, Caine was not interested in Caterpies.
