Kneeling on the side of the route, Adrien would brush a loving hand over his new Pokemon. "Qira" He'd utter almost fatherly at his new...bug. A fire bug had him rather excited, a little of that evident on his usually calm visage. Even with Professor Rowan housing a large variety of Pokemon, he was amazed that he was able to get his hands on something this rare.
And now, he couldn't wait to get out of twinleaf -- it's only attraction being the Pokemon Professor. Honestly, even the slow town of Celestic had more to offer than this little village. 'And the next town isn't any better.' He'd sigh.
Standing up, the silverette would have the larvesta perch on his shoulder. It wouldn't be long before he the tall grass before him began to shake. 'Mmm?'

'A spritzee?' Adrien cocked an eyebrow as the pink bird hopped out of the tall grass. 'Nah..' He'd slightly shurg as he snapped his fingers, the larvesta responding immediately at it leapt off his shoulders and stood before him. "Qira. Ember!" The pokemon would immediately respond by spitting out an adequately sized fire ball at the fire, one which hit without fail. The sprtizee would cry out as the flames singed it's side, however did not give in just yet.
Before the larvesta could move again, the bird would unleash a whirl of fairy wind at it at which the bug would desperately try to grip onto the soil it stood upon. "Leech Life! Then ember again" As instructed by its trainer, Qira would sap a decent amount of health from its opponent before finishing it off with a well-timed ember.
The spritzee was hit by both attacks consecutively and it wouldn't be long before the bird collapsed.

With the spritzee defeated and the path cleared once more, the larvesta would once again hop back onto Adrien's shoulder. "Nicely done." He'd caress the bug's head with one hand as they made their way through the thicket. '!' Half way through, Qira leapt off its trainer's shoulder and stood alert leaving Adrien puzzled at the larvesta's rather strange behavior.
"Qira...?" He'd murmur, unsure of what to expect. Then, almost instantaneously, a flash of light would erupt right before the bug pokemon, an abra taking its place as the light receded. The silverette's lips broke into quite a large smile. "Ember! Then quickly follow it with Leech seed." Immediately the fire bug would respond and carry out its trainer's demand, starting off with a burst of flames at the abra.
The Pokemon was taken back and tumbled over to one side upon being singed. And then, just before it could teleport, Qira would sap away a little health using leech seed. "Again. Ember and then sting shot." The yellow hued pokemon would attempt to escape when another ember would hit it right in the torso, and was finally bound together by strings of thread.
Reaching for his belt, the galactic grunt would deploy a pokeball at it. Hopefully he could catch it before the pokemon could teleport away.

'Caught!' With a smug smile on his face, Adrien would pick up the pokeball and hook it onto his belt. An abra would be come in handy soon enough, just as soon as he could fix up pokemon's move set. As for Qira, Adrien would just give it an encouraging nod and beckoned it to move along the route. The albaster haired male would follow a short distance behind Qira when the bug type gave a shrill cry as it toppled backward.
"W-What..?!" Stunned by the sudden attack on his Pokemon, Adrien would kneel down and straighten up the toppled bug. In front of them was a rather aggressive helioptile, "Oh, really?" Utilizing a more sarcastic tone now, the galactic member would nudge the larvesta, signaling it to prepare for battle.
"Go, ember!"
The larvesta would give a small cry as it let loose a ball of fire at the helioptile. Missed! The electric type was faster than the other wild pokemon he had encountered. Twas so agile that by the time larvesta had refocused its attention on it, the yellow hued pokemon had already readied a tail whip.
"Dammit! Dodge and use sting shot!" Excited, the silverette would stand up and yell out orders to which the pokemon responded obediently. With a quick leap to the left, the fire type would barely miss the tail whip. Spinning around, it would spit out string in abundance which wrapped around the enemy and slowed it down considerably.
"Now ember! Then again, use stingshot!" With the helioptile's speed retarding, it was much easier to singe it with ember. The larvesta would follow with another sting shot that entangled the pokemon once more.
"Now! Leech seed. Go!" But before the leech seed could even hit, the electric type would get up and deliver a powerful thunder shock. A shrill cry tore through the air as Qira was hit and barely on her feet. "Tch! Come'on. One more time! Leech seed." This time, the seeds would successfully plant themselves on the pokemon's back and sapped a little health out of it.
With the pokemon weakened, Adrien would pull out yet another pokeball and toss it at the helioptile.
Perhaps another?

Those few seconds before a pokemon was caught always kept the silverette on the edge of his seat, even though his expression seemed as calm as ever. When the third 'click' was heard, Adrien smiled as relief flushed over him. Another pokemon successfully caught.
Kneeling down once again, the trainer would shuffle through his bag and pulled out a potion. That last battle was a rather intense one and he wasn't about to rely on leech seed to keep the fire type standing. After spraying the potion and taking a short break, the silverette would resume his journey through another patch of grass.
'Krriii!' A cry as out from the patch came a solosis, floating ever so freely and all over the place. He'd cup his chin with one hand as he pulled out the pokedex and studied the pokemon. "I supppse we can get from training done. Go! Ember" Shoving the pokedex down his pocket, the male would prepare for battle.
The larvesta gave out an excited cry as it spat out another fireball, taking the solosis utterly by surprise. It hit! The psychic type would retort with a scratch, which hit but consequently inflicted the solosis with a burn courtesy of Qira's flame body.
"Again, Ember! Keep using ember" He'd dictate and the pokemon followed. The first ember hit, the second as well and by the third infliction the pokemon would collapse.
Match typing had made this one a slightly easy one.

While he wasn't quite fond of picking on wild pokemon, when it came to training his own they were regrettably expendable. "Another down." Adrien would comment as he stoked the firebug's mane, dotting upon it like a loving parent. "Just a little more..." The silverette would narrow his eyes as he looked out into the distance the next town peeping into view.
So close.
"Pine!"
And yet so far away.
Adrien had hardly traveled a few steps when a Pineco hopped out of the bushes, it's demeanor making it quite certain that it was out looking for a battle. "Qira. You're up again. Start with an ember attack! " The firebug would scuttle straight for the pinebug, a tiny fireball spat along the way. It was ready to impress its master once more.
The Pineco wasn't quick enough to evade and was caught in the attack rather easily. The ember hit hard, evident by the singe left on the pokemon's frame. It'd give out a shrill cry as it hobbled over to tackle the bug. "Dodge! The ember again!" The larvesta would try to evade but was hit hard on the head by an adequately powered tackle. The firebug took a moment to shake off the tackle and retaliated with another ember. It hit, and in the process irritated the pineco. What happened next?
Self Destruct. The blue-hued pokemon began to gleam a brilliant white and as it did Adrien's eyes would widen in worry; he knew quite well what was to come. "Quick. Stop it with ember! Twice! Now!" He'd push out orders quickly and excited the larvesta. The firebug would quickly spit out two consecutive fireballs.
The first hit and stopped the self-destruct phase by having it topple over. The second hit and had the pokemon faint.
"Haah. Close call."

At last, Sangdem town. Twas just a hop, skip and a jump away with only a tiny patch of grass that stood in his way and tbe next town. Even though the probability of encountering another wild pokemon was slim Adrien wasn't going to take chances and was alert for any sort of movement as he stepped into the grass.
'Ching!'
A very familiar sort of chime would ring as he weaved through the grass. 'Ching!' And again, the bell-esque ring would resound through the grass. '...' It didn't take too much effort to guess what sort of creature was lurking in the thicket. Yet, the silverette didn't move and instead patiently waited for the bug type to show itself.
Sure enough, the bell pokemon would float out of the grass and into sight, curious as to who had stumbled upon its doman. "Ember." Without a second thought, Adrien would set the firebug loose at it. The tiny fireball hit and had the pokemon do a few flips in midair. Before it could retaliate, Adrien dictated yet another ember. It hit once more.
Finally, with the last of its strength the bell pokemon would wrap its extensipns around the larvesta in a tight wrap attack. "Ignore it! Just use ember again!" Obedient as ever, the firebug would endure the wrap and spit out a final fireball, one which sapped the what little strength the chingling had left. The pokemon would faint and drop flat on the ground and released its binds around its captive.
"Good work. " Another praise before he got out of the grass. "We're here..."
