松の葉の葉毎にむすぶ白露のおきてはこぼれこぼれてはおく鳴な虫別るる恋はほしにさへ
| The commissioner had obviously not been happy to dance, and Sabrina would hate to see her mood sour even more. She leaves her after the first song, waving goodbye and all the other pleasantries associated with the gala. Her personality may be a bit abrasive, but Sabrina doesn't doubt that she does her job well.
It's a shame to think that she stands entirely against Galactic.
Her heels click against the ground as she ascends the stairs, music and guests fading behind her. As she walks through the halls she can see balconies that overhang from outside. There's much less people up here, and she finds peace away from the crowd.
When she catches sight of the familiar skull mask, her lips curl into a smile. She quickly approaches him, tapping him on the other shoulder just for fun. It's not everyday that she has a boss she can mess around with.
"So how's the mask holding up?"

The view from the balcony reminded him of a similar view not too long ago, except today he was alone and wasn't quite in the mood to enjoy the festivities. Some solace was granted to him in these balconies and Adrien would lean on the ceramic railing as his awful skull mask remained hosted on his visage. Eyes almost closed when a tap on his shoulder would jolt him out of his train of thoughts. "Mm?" Adrien would turn his head towards the source, only to recoil his head when he made eye contact with a similar (yet unwelcomed) face.
"Oh, it's you." His voice was void of emotion and almost sounded as if he was repulsed which wasn't too far from the truth after what she made him do. Being blackmailed by a subordinate was almost insulting and he would have taken greater offense to it had he been his usual self; something he wasn't for a while now.
Turning his whole frame to face her, Adrien would now support his elbows on the rails. He'd shrug his shoulders as he mused over her question. "It's a hazard. Almost broke someone's nose with it." Spoken in a matter a fact tone, despite the exaggeration. Eying the woman and her slightly ruined dress he'd continue ever so nonchalantly . "I see you've been enjoying yourself." It piqued his curiosity as to what caused such a mess. "Pigging out much?"

松の葉の葉毎にむすぶ白露のおきてはこぼれこぼれてはおく鳴な虫別るる恋はほしにさへ
| Adrien Arkwright seemed to be much more distant as of late, eyes lidded closed and awfully listless for such a pleasant event. When Sabrina taps his shoulder, he jolts slightly, glancing at her -- and recoiling back, much to her amusement.
"What a pleasant greeting," She lilts. Her voice couldn't be more full of sarcasm. Yet she couldn't exactly blame him either; it must be embarrassing to be extorted by a subordinate. It's only because Adrien lets her get away with it too. She's heard a fair share of his own exploits back in his heyday, gathered from rumours and gossip. It's surprising to think that such a mild admin used to be so obnoxious.
What happened to the old Adrien?
She takes a couple steps, leaning an elbow on the balcony. "I'm glad it's somewhat useful." She snickers, glancing at its teeth that line the bottom of his skull. It's a health hazard if it's not handled correctly; but she's sure that she can trust Adrien with such a task. Probably. His eyes follow the side of her dress, and she can tell that it's the terrible stain that catches his attention.
"Excuse you, it's your girlfriend's subordinates that managed to ruin this dress. You should tell her something."
To say that she wanted to tease Adrien Arkwright is an understatement.

The navy-haired male did not respond nor retort to her comment. Sabrina had been recruited only recently and it seemed she was already getting out of hand. Normally, such a problem shouldn't have occurred, Adrien's keen involvement in Galactic affairs should have deterred this sort of outcome. Alas, he wasn't as involved these days at all and besides, the brunette had witnessed a rather unfortunate event. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time in Jubilife graced the woman with a scene he couldn't argue much against. He was seen with the ranger commissioner in what suggested they were on a 'date'. While not completely untrue, it wasn't the complete truth either. However Adrien wasn't the kind that would lower his pride enough to explain matters especially to a subordinate. Besides it was a careless mistake on his part, although he was certain he wouldn't see her again... He wouldn't see her again.
"Right." He'd mumble to himself as arms now came to fold themselves infront of his torso with disinterest quite apparent in his inflection. He wasn't interested in entertaining her, the woman obviously getting a rise out of teasing him. Oddly enough this situation seemed rather familiar, expect usually he'd be the one to try and spite or tease the other. However even thinking of doing so now, expecially at such a (what he concluded to be) dour event, felt exhausting. His head turned to his side as he'd spectate the festivities going on down below. There was recent news the man was informed of, something he assumed the grunt might as well know of. "Enjoy the night. There's going to be quite a bit of work to get to aft--after..." Eyes closed in exasperation as he'd stutter and cut himself short when he heard Sabrina speak the next few lines.
Girlfriend. He didn't even need to think twice nor pause to know who she was refering to. Austere eyes reverted back to lock with Sabrina's. "We talked about this, Townsend." His voice took a more serious, if not an unintentionally more defensive, intonation. "She is not my girlfriend." He'd emphasize on the 'not', hopefully getting his point across. He'd sigh before continuing. "Is that all?" Safe to say, that one comment was enough to hit a nerve.

| His responses proved to be quiet and disinterested, giving no rise to her jabs. It's always been like this since the first day -- although Adrien is more depressed than usual. Her boss seemed to be more distant as each day passes, and she assumes it's partly due to this woman he's been seeing.
How sentimental.
He leans against the balcony, arms crossed in front of him. Adrien closes himself further towards Sabrina, his mood somber. Yes, she's heard of the upcoming coup against Galactic's current leader. Adrien's her boss, so she can't do much but reluctantly participate. Sabrina doesn't mind as long as she still gets her money. But that's not the topic at hand here. She leans against the balcony, hearing him speak before she interrupts him.
Adrien's mood suddenly switches to something more testy and defensive, and her smile deepens. It's good to know that he's not totally listless, although it's terribly sad that she had to mention his girlfriend to do so.
"I believe you." She says, although her tone implies otherwise. All the evidence is stacked against him, and he knows that. Sabrina may have not particularly cared about the personal life of her boss, but she can't deny that it's gotten much more interesting.
"Then what is she?"
