[attr="class","CALME"]Sweet dreams aren't made of everything nice. Not the sweet candy from the hearts of others could ever be more intoxicating. Nightmares came and they went like birds. And as everyday passes, there's always the sound of thunder at the back of her mind. Those careless actions never ending. It's just another repeat in holy matrimony. Hand by hand.
Puffed chest, standing tall and strong. A woman should not look so weak. Independent on their own and stubbornness to the very core of their essential being. Calypso looked up to the sky, the great horizon giving way to the sun.
The park was silent. No one would come through here just yet. The afternoon didn't give way to the bustling children either. And as the ticking seconds passed by, she tried to remember the sweet calming days of nothing.
he awakes. sweaty, hot, and yet cold all at the same time. he finds himself sitting upright, hand wiping sweat off his forehead. he shivers, his body's warm but yet he feels so cold, the cold wind that passes through the small gaps of the walls doing little to warm. it does the opposite, the winds of snowpoint chilling at this time of the year. the rest of his body's drenched with sweat, a bandage's wrapped around his left shoulder, it's tainted red. his breathing is heavy as he buries his face in his palms, fingers rubbing away at heavy eyes. another nightmare. he can't do this anymore, can't go through this alone.
there's nothing in that cabin near snowpoint; he's depleted of food, of water, and of warmth. his body core drops as time passes, nightmares fading to the back of his mind for now. but they still linger. he needs help, desperately, and he's not quite sure where to find it. he can't go back to galactic, can't go back to his family, can't go back to her. she haunts him, makes sleeping peacefully impossible. he can't shake it off, can't simply forget her. and he's not quite ready to confront things either. not like this.
he's soon on the back of an aerodactyl, shivering under the cold wind as they soar through the sky. he's weak; he's barely had a thing to eat, nor enough hours of sleep. there are so many wounds on him that he's unsure which ones needed treatment. he tried his best to patch himself up after the waterfall incident, but it's clear that he needs more. his eyes barely stay open as they soar.
"down there..."
it's a weak order, and maybe he's hallucinating but he takes a risk. the dinosaur rotates sideways and cuts down from the sky towards a park. he soon realizes that it's day time, and that landing would be a mistake. but he needs the help in any form it might take. the park's empty as the dinosaur soars and lands right in front of a female. it dumps liam, shrugs the man off before flapping its wings. he lands on his feet, thankfully, and quickly recalls the dinosaur before it has a chance to fly away.
he's dressed like shit; the same shirt that's been stained with dirt and dust, pants that have been torn near the ankles, white bandages apparent through the holes. he's a mess. most of his weight is on his right leg. he doesn't move, he's close enough, he knows it. he finally turns.
"c-cal..." his voice sounds weak, forced. "i need help."

[attr="class","CALME"]Men falling from the sky, anyone would love that. Women would drop to their knees just to find handsome men falling. It fits the song 'It's Raining Men'. Cal felt wind blow, her hair rippling. Covering her face for a bit. A few seconds, it was enough for her to hear a familiar sound. It's ringing, and her hands immediately pushed her hair aside. Eyes over to the familiar stature.
Liam, his name fell off of her lips so easily.
It's horrible, to see him in a state like this. She felt her stomach drop, and her arms wrapped themselves around him. With as much strength as she could, she held him close. Moving more to the side, she wrapped one arm around his waist and took out her Trevenant, Thanatos. His red glow for eyes looked over to her. He didn't need to be told what his task was.
The ghostly tree took the injured man and held him steady. We're going to my place, hold on for a bit. Her voice filled with concern. How long has it been since she has last heard or even seen this man? I...I can't even remember... She frowned. Her Trevenant carrying Liam inside of the house.
She rushed towards her bed couch, tossing aside books and paper as she laid a fresh sheet on top of the mattress. A lump was in her throat as Thanatos laid the man on top. Ah, you're either dense or just flat out idiotic for not calling a girl.
Thanatos went to the next room, fetching the first aid kit. You should rest, don't move too much, she added quickly.
for once his name isn't being said with such hatred, anger, or disdain. it feels refreshing, uplifting in a way as it brings a weak smile onto his face that only grows wider when he's embraced. it's been so long that he thought he forgot how to, but his arms naturally wrap around her as he feels himself being pulled closer. he lets out a sigh, then another, and for once he doesn't feel so alone. he misses this, misses the embrace of another. it's become a foreign feeling but it feels so natural.
he simply nods at her remark and lets the ghost tree help support him. he doesn't remember the journey that well, all he remembers is being placed gently onto a mattress. his vision starts to blur so he swiftly blinks a few times. he tries his best to stay conscious, to stay in the moment as his eyes stay locked onto the girl. his left arm is sprawled out across the mattress, and his left leg is extended out. so many injuries that he doesn't remember where exactly.
"well, i'm not exactly someone you would... want around," he replied. his voice is raspy, strained, but he wants to talk, wants to converse. "how have you been?" he exhales deeply after that, feeling himself sink deeper into the mattress. it's vastly different compared to the one in the cabin, and he cherishes the softness of it. despite that the pain still rings, mostly from his left shoulder.
he's too delusional, too weak to even think coherently to realize that he might have just put her in danger. that worry would come later as he tried to perch himself up onto his right elbow to elevate his view. "thank you." he's not sure what else to say, if if there's even anything else to say. but he continues. "for helping. not everyone would."

[attr="class","CALME"]she wasn't worried for the man. he knew how to take care of himself. at least long enough before he could bite the tail and ask for help.
this was ridiculous. i'm doing alright, coping to say the least. not much can be said from you, huh? she was trying not to bark, hurting him further would distance her chance to runaway. maybe be close to him.
she was silent as she heard him out. typically, she would have wanted to have a reunion less than this. her eyes scanned to her hands, they held onto each other tightly as fingers knotted into themselves. looking up at him with a thin lipped smile she rested her hand on his cheek. her blues assuring to him, hopefully. just rest, that's all you need really. i'll take care of you, just do that for me...
don't die was another, but she kept that to herself as she took her hand away from his cheek and took the bandages from the first aid kit thanatos brought to her. i'll have to cut off your clothes to apply the bandages. scissors in hand. don't make any moves.
as for the no helping, anyone out of galactic and ranger would help you. her hands were quick, precision had to be on point. she cut off his sleeves first of all, and then his shirt, straight up the middle to apply the bandages. scissors down as she looked at his bare chest.
finger lightly tracing the scar. i'm sorry i wasn't there to help you...
he smiles when he hears her response. a genuine smile. "it can. it would just be a lie." he tenses when he feels her hand on his cheek. it takes him a moment to recognize the feeling, it's been so long that it feels strange, almost foreign, but he soon remembers. he tilts his head to the side, further into her hand. he replies with a nod. "just rest." he repeats to himself. his eyes follow her as she reaches for the scissors.
he doesn't flinch, there's no reason to. he trusts her, knows that she won't hurt him. it's a nice thought to have, to know that someone has no intentions of hurting you. he almost relaxes as he hears fabric rip. once the shirt's been cut apart it reveals the 'bandages' on his left shoulder. it's messy, not even treated properly. it's just bandages layered on top of another, not even bothering to wrap all the way around. he reaches with his right hand to slowly pull the layers of bandage off, flinching slightly from the pain.
the bloodied bandages fall to the floor. "sorry." he apologizes, for staining the floor, the mattress, apologizes for all of this. just that mere action of pulling the bandages off is enough to tire him out. he pulls his arm back and lays it flat on the mattress. he doesn't feel her finger tracing the scar, but he sees it. he shakes his head.
"no, no. don't apologize." he'd have more problems to worry about if she had been there with him. he can barely handle himself. he could never forgive himself if she got hurt because of him. which reminds him of something.
"cal." he tries his best, reaches to place a hand on her cheek, mimicking her actions from before. "did you get out?" he asks.

[attr="class","CALME"]She thought of the problems. She could have solved them. Clearly, it's not good enough for people and not for her. Grinding her teeth without much movement on her skin. Hands moved as she then began to bandage him, she could only flinch when he placed his hand on her cheek. The warm feeling. Why was it that this was the most important thing to her now?
I... She stopped as she tried to tell him the truth. I didn't get out. She pushed his hand down and laid it down on the mattress. I have someone I need to get and if it goes well, maybe I'll escape. If only I could. I would go to you.
She continued to bandage him. Silence from her as she didn't want to talk about it further. She should just forget about it and runaway. There's no reason for her to be in Galactic this long. The only reason..her sole reason was to have her father regain his memory and at the very least. His arm was finished as she then took in a deep breath.
Looking back at him. Did you? You should at least get away. You're going to be hunted, and not the good kind. Hopefully, it didn't sound too much of a threat to him, more of a warning.
You should strip too, I need to treat you. This definitely didn't sound way out of context.
he doesn't know what to say when he hears her answer. she didn't get out. and he did nothing to help her. he lets his hand fall to the mattress but his gaze never left her. the silence from her afterwards tells him that she doesn't want to talk about it, so he respects that. he doesn't talk, instead he watches her tend to his wound, watches the bandage circling his arm ever so slowly, gently. when it's done he shifts on the bed, swings his legs over the edge of the bed and sits up.
"i did." her question lingers even after he answers. "at least i think i did." he's not sure if he can ever be free of galactic. there would always be someone chasing him, albeit adrien or one of his subordinates. and if not galactic, then rangers. he questions if all of this is even worth it. "i can handle it." he chuckles but even he knows he really can't, not by himself.
he nods at her instructions and shrugs off whatever is left of his shirt off of him. he tries to stand, pushes himself off the bed but immediately falls back down. he sighs, feels disappointed at himself for being so careless, so weak. so he remains sitting on the bed and strips that way. he raises a hand to weakly trace around the edges of the scar on his chest.
"it's not too late." he speaks, turns to look at her once again. "you can still leave. with me. we can leave this all behind." the offer's been extended out to one other person before that ended with denial. he hopes for a different response this time but he still expects to be shot down. "i can help you get that someone." he continues speaking.
