Adrien would grunt under his breath when neither Rory or Mastry seemed to get the hint and wanted to badger him further. He'd sigh as he put down the phone and lazily shifted his gaze between the two. "Look, I don't have the time and I wish to remain silent," He'd snap back and grin, one of the many lines he was accustomed to use when faced with a pestering officer. It was obnoxious of him and he knew it, despite talking to acquaintances. Of course, then Mastry would add one compelling line.
"Mm?" He'd cock a mischievous brow at her, arms crossed over his torso. A low hum would escape his lips as imaginary gears clicked, thoughts racing back to the day she gave him an earful for the stunt he pulled. The Arkwright didn't hold anything against her, although he was still pretty adamant that she needed to lighten up. A lot.
"Mm, okay. I think we can work something out," The admin would shift his focus on the redhead now. "How about you meet me later? Y'know just to uhh..." His eye averted away from her momentarily as he tried to find the right words without being accused of infidelity again. "Let's hangout sometime? Mm? As friends," He'd stress and eye Adrian on that word before clearing his throat.
"To make amends for what I did in at Hearthome. Deal? If so, I'll tell you all you need to know~"
Whatever 'all' was.

give it up IT'S THE SAME OLD STORY BUT YOU NEVER GET IT RIGHT This was getting them nowhere. Even when Rory stepped in to assist in convincing him, Arkwright was not budging. The sight of the male ranger doing anything remotely helpful baffled her somewhat... minus the request to drink together on the job - which would be straight up ignored. Either way the blue haired man would dissuade any further questions with a line that felt as if it was not his first time saying those words. The woman sighed in annoyance, taking a step backwards and covering her eyes with her right hand in thought. Why he was acting like this? Protecting information on a man that so obviously done him wrong... it didn't make sense whatsoever. Right as Adrian was about to give up and spare herself the agony of continuing this any further, Arkwright gave her pause. Work something out he said. Initially her emerald eyes would squint as she looked directly into his one good eye waiting on elaboration on his part. When he suggested meeting up later anger would flash in her eyes momentarily right as he looked away, remembering the incident at the hospital. The lack of amusement in the suggestion showed on her expression, her lips curved into a frown as she listened to the rest. "Oh you-" she grumbled this but stopped herself from continuing her sentence if only due to the opportunity that arose. He wanted to 'make amends' and was dangling information on front of their faces like bait to get it. The thought irked her yet it was difficult to ignore. Adrian took a breath in an attempt to recompose. This was a difficult task for her and while she did not like the thought, she's swallow her pride as she spoke. "Alright fine. As... friends." The last word was said with much hesitance but was repeated to make that distinction. Cautiously she would eye Rory in case he'd try to interfere knowing he likely would due to his motivation here. Giving way to any other circumstances, the woman extended her hand to shake on the deal. If she had to do this then so be it. "As long as you keep your word I'll hang out with you." No matter how much it pained her. "Give me a time and place."
