i'm here to tell ya honey, that i'm bad to the bone.
@no one~ Kinda mentioning her "promotion" to grunt without it being official just yet as a reason for her to even be here.
After her last training training endevaour, she was now had a Cubchoo and slightly stronger pokemon to show for it. After all of that, she had recieved a quick text from a blocked number letting her know of her rank up within Team Galactic. Nothing more had come, despite the woman anxiously checking her phone for hours in the hopes that some sort of direction would be sent her way.
When she finally realized nothing was coming, she had simply contented herself to know at least she was being watched. Her next move was simple, continue training and see what became of it.
The woman had taken some time to allow her three pokemon to rest while she had spent some time researching her next training location as well as what would be her best bet in terms of additions to her team. From her research, it seemed like the ruins of Floaroma Town offered a diverse selection of pokemon.
After packing her bags, the woman had made the hike out of Jubilfe City towards the burned ashed of the long ago town. She had chosen to dress sensibly this time, trading in her usual gothic attire for a pair of hiking boots and some cargo shorts. On her belt rest three pokeballs, waiting for their chance to be called upon.
As Ophelia wandered through the field, dust covering her from the knees down, she kept her eyes open for any signs of pokemon.

Used one Fire Incense, removed from PC
It didn't take long before Ophelia ran into a pokemon. A small Shroomish wandered on by, skipping along in the ash covered grass and humming to itself. The pokemon was skipping past, clearly ignoring the woman. Unfortunately, Ophelia wasn't ignoring it.
Her fingers traced along the pokeballs at her waist, landing at the third one that housed her ice pokemon. She would have a type advantage by using her Cubchoo against the little grass type. Removing the shrunken ball from its' holder and releasing the little bear.
The Shroomish stopped as it heard the noise of the Cubchoo being released. It titled it's body in a silent question. For a brief moment, Ophelia felt bad for the little guy, she was about to tear it apart. "Cubchoo, use icy wind!" Ophelia commanded, pointing towards the little unaware Shroomish.
Cubchoo did as she was told, launching a powerfully cold blast. Shroomish recoiled in horror, trying to flee the attack but only managing run completely into the blast. The pokemon trembled, shaking the ice from its' smooth body. Shroomish retaliated with a leech seed, seeding Cubchoo to try and retain health.
Cubchoo tried to shake the little seeds from her fur to no avail as it drained her of health. "Cubchoo, another icy wind, take down this Shroomish." Ophelia said, ignoring her pokemon's distressed movement as the seeds slowly sapped her of health.
Once again the little bear launched a cold blast of air. Despite the leech seed's healing effect, the little Shroomish went down with a cry. The small seeds covering Cubchoo suddenly detached and fell to the ground around her feet.
"Good job." Ophelia said, proud of how quickly they had taken down their opponent. In the back of her mind, Ophelia had hoped her employer was watching somehow.
As she made to continue on, Ophelia suddenly remembered the odd trinket she had picked up on the way out of Jubilife City. A street vendor had been selling incense, promising it would attract exactly what she was looking for. On an impulse, she had grabbed the fire type, thinking it would allow her more of a chance to use the type advantage of Cubchoo as a quick training tool.
She removed it from her bag, lit the small candle underneath it as she was instructed and watched as the smoke began to rise from the opening on the top.

@no one~ -1 Pokeball Attempting to capture Darumaka.
Used one Fire Incense, (one pokemon remaining)
As the smoke wafted upwards and caught on the wind, Ophelia sat down, placing the weird gold and red object besides her. Soon she could hear rustling nearby and a Darumaka jumped out, squealing, as it tackled the incense holder. nearby.
The woman couldn't help but laugh as the small red ball cuddled up against its' prize. Clearly the product had worked, something the woman hadn't exactly been expecting. She stood up, brushing the dirt off herself as she did so. Reaching for her belt, she grabbed Cubchoo's ball and tossed it into the air.
As the ice type emerged, she landed in front of Ophelia, already aware she had been called out to battle. "We're gonna catch that Darumaka." The woman told her pokemon, "Use brine."
Cubchoo turned, facing the Darumaka who still had it's odd red body cuddled against the incense holder. She sprayed out an icy cold blast of salt water. The attack took the fire type completely by surprise and damaging it badly due to the type advantage.
Darumaka righted himself and returned with an equally damaging fire fang. Cubchoo roared in pain, recoiling from the attack that also had the type advantage. Ophelia cursed loudly, completely forgetting her own pokemon had a type disadvantage against fire.
It was clear she had to end the battle quickly before her own pokemon was laid out. "Cubchoo use another brine, follow it up with an icy wind." She ordered, hoping the dual attack would be enough to take out her opponent before it could do the same.
Cubchoo squared herself and unleashed an chilling brine attack, followed up by an icy wind. Although the ice attack wouldn't be as effective, Opehlia hoped the barrage would take down the fire type.
Darumaka took the assault, staggering back on its' small orange feet. It appeared to want to attack again, stepping forward once on trembling legs, before falling face first into the ash covered ground.
"Gotcha." The woman said, pulling a spare pokeball from her pocket and tossing it at the fallen Darumaka. As the red light engulfed her opponent she turned to Cubchoo and nodded her approval. She hoped her training would keep her superiors happy and possibly earn her a new pokemon.

@no one~ -1 Pokeball Attempting to capture Litleo. Cubchoo evolves in Beartic
/end thread
The previous battle having been finished had left both the trainer and her little ice type covered in a fine layer of ash. All of the movement and slight wind had caused the gritty coverings of their surrounds to be kicked up, only to settle again on the woman.
Ophelia picked up the ball, now laying quietly and stashed it in her bag. Although the Darumaka wasn't exactly her first choice for fire types, she sure as hell wasn't going to waste what her money had paid for.
She righted the incense holder, that had kept pumping out wispy pale smoke since she had lit it. Although the smoke waned now, she knew it still had some life to it. And soon enough, it proved it's worth once again.
A Lilteo came forward, having stalked its' way through the thick surrounding grass. It eyed the contracption and the woman standing nearby carefully.
Of course, Ophelia saw this as her opportunity. A Lilteo is exactly what she needed on her team. She clapped her hands in anticipation, watching as a poof of soot surrounded them. "Cubchoo, brine." She said, not allowing the fire type to have a chance to run.
The beaten pokemon sighed and turned, unleashing a lack luster torrent of salty water at the Litleo. The pokemon recoiled in agony, howling in pain as the type advantage attack hit it. Litleo didn't spend much time before launching its' own attack.
Fire engulfed it's mouth and it ran forward, landing a devastatingly painful fire fang on Cubchoo. The pokemon staggered, her small blue knees trembling. "Now is no time for theatrics!" The woman called harshly, "Use another brine."
Cubchoo stepped forward, an amazing effort consider the pain and fatigue and she roared. A deep throaty sound uncommon for the small bear. Ophelia was shocked, looking at her Cubchoo in surprise. Where had the bear mustered such vocals? And then it became clear. A flashing, pulsing silver blue light began to encircle Cubchoo obscuring her from vision all together.
As soon as it started, it was over. From the blinding lights emerged a large Beartic, standing quite a few feet taller than her trainer. "That's a girl." Opehlia cooed, trying to contain her excitement at the prospect of two new pokemon. "Use another Brine!" And so the Beartic did, knocking the small Litleo to its' side in a defeated heap.
The woman smirked, grabbing another spare pokeball from her bag and tossed it at the fallen fire type. Ignoring it as a red flash captured the Litleo, Ophelia walked up to her new Beartic who stood panting with her back to her trainer. She placed her hand on the pokemon's back, feeling the cool fur. "Let's get you home, girl." She said, patting her tired pokemon with a hint of kindness not common from the woman.
