Little Ophelia Ellsworth was never exactly wanted. A clear product of infidelity on her mother's part, the dark haired child grew up fatherless and unwanted. Growing up in the poor section of Jubilfe city taught Ophelia many things; like how to steal and lie to get what she wanted. Her absent mother provided the basics; shelter, clothing and food but neglected to love her child. Forced to tend to herself, Ophelia was content to walk to the library in the middle of the city and read for hours. The stories of princesses being saved by the dashing prince resonated deep within her. Ophelia would imagine herself as the princess, waiting for her true love to come save her.

Of course, the stories she loved were quickly shown to be lies as she reached adolescence. Forced to go to public school, the girl quickly saw just how cruel the world was. Although her mother provided her with clothing, it wasn't exactly the best. Ophelia quickly became the target for bullies. Soon the girl became quiet and angry. It didn't take long for the fights to start. And just a week away from her sixteenth birthday she was expelled from public school for a fight that left a class mate with numerous broken bones.

This is about when the change became noticeable. Before she had been angry and would lash out, but now she had become cold and calculate having learned that her actions had consequences. Ophelia quickly began working under the table jobs, working enough to finally afford a small apartment and leave home. For the time, Ophelia was content once again.

But contentment never lasts. On her twenty-third birthday Ophelia took herself to a bar to celebrate. It was there that she ran into trouble. One wrong comment and too many drinks led to a brawl. The next morning Ophelia found herself in the city jail, awaiting trial for assault. As the woman sat there, the realization that everything she had worked for was about to be taken from her sank in. As the feeling of dread and panic washed over her, a shining beacon of light glimmered in the distance.

Unbeknownst to her, Team Galatic had taken an interest in the overly aggressive female. A recruiter stood outside her cell and offered her a deal. They would have the charges dropped if she swore her allegiance to their cause. Of course this was a no brainier. Before the recruiter could finish his speech, she had already eagerly agreed.

And so her journey as a Galatic Grunt began....
