 The Floaroma town event was... Something alright, although there was silver-lining in even the most awkward of moments out there. For one, he was able to score a metang in the rural lands and before he was to set forth for Veilstone again, Adrien would do a little field testing with his new metang.
The bulky pokemon would hover around his as they strolled through Fuego Ironworks. Quite an irksome place concerning the bad experience he had there the last time. However today, everything should go as planned.

Geodude was a simple enough target, and perhaps the perfect on tp start off with. "Tank, Metal Claw!" The pokemon, being rather new to battling with commands tried to do its best with adhering to the oddly named attacks. However, twas smart enough to execute a powerful metal claw nonetheless.
The attack hit and Geodude rolled attack in pain. Agitated, it would release a magnitude attack to which Adrien would immediately call out. "Magnet Rise" The metal pokemon would engulf itself in an electric field and levitate off the earth, saving the steel type from a powerful magnitude 8.
"Another metal claw! Finish it off!" The metang would race forth and deliver a heavy swing of its arm, metallic claws nearly destroying the pokemon. | METANG

Glameow. Ugh, Adrien sighed - - these cats types were nearly everywhere he looked. Whatever. "Confusion, then bash it and finish it off with metal claw," The metang would pause for a mere moment as it tried to translate the series of orders. A technical cry of sorts resounded from its metal frame as it then raced forth to deliver a confusion attack. The cat would crouch low as the attack hit and then tried to retaliate with a bite.
Alas, trying to bite a lug of metal was by the far the best decision made. The cat instead would inflict pain upon itself and a take down attacked propelled it into the barrels behind it. "...You can stop." Thr metang was about to finish the Glameow when Adrien would halt.
Blood just wasn't his thing. | METANG

A clauncher wasn't the most threatening of opponents and one which the Metang had little trouble in taking down. Starting with a confusion attack the clauncher would be temporarily stunned as the metang raced forth to finish it with a take down attack. It hit! Alas wasn't enough to take it down just yet.
The claw pokemon woulr retaliate with a bubble beam. It would hit its mark but a final metal claw by the steel type would end the clauncher for good. | METANG

Adrien would whip out his pokedex to scan this next pokemon. A Lunatone it seemed. He'd shrug as he beckoned Metang to go forth. "Go wild." He'd sigh as he slapped down the pokedex and began assessing the steel type. The bulky pokemon would start off with a wonderfully executed pursuit attack which did an adequate amount of damage.
The lunatone would counter with a psywave attack. Metang would just stiffen up and close its eyes as it look the hit. It hurt but twas negligible nonetheless. The steel type would then race forth and finish it off with a metal claw attack. | METANG

Battling a Darumaka wasn't going to be easy, seeing the type advantage but just by sizing both pokemon it was made evident that the metang was the stronger pokemon of the two. Although to ascertain victory, Adrien would intervene. "Confusion," Started out with a stunning psychic attack and folloeed up by a swift slash of its metallic claws that had the darumaka recoil in pain.
The... Monkey-bird of a pokemon would retaliate with fire punch, inflicting adequate damage on the steel type. "Deal with it. Then Pursuit!," The metang had to endure the attack and then finally finish off the darumaka with a well timed pursuit attack. | METANG
