give it up IT'S THE SAME OLD STORY BUT YOU NEVER GET IT RIGHT Rubbing her index finger and thumb along the bridge of her nose in an attempt to rid herself of of an oncoming migrane, the ranger commissioner had found herself wandering the dark streets of the abandoned entertainment district of Canalave after miraculously clearing her desk of work that particular day. It wasn't duty that had brought the ginger here this day as one might normally assume when seeing a ranger in uniform walking about, but rather a recollection of her regret. Having just left the desolate building in which she had rescued two of her fellow rangers months ago, flashes of memories had resurfaced from that night that the woman had subconsciously suppressed after being overcome with work after the commissioner title was officially passed to her. It had been a long time coming for her to inspect the area that she had encountered her first major failure and it was a good reality check as she wandered alone, a sullen look struck across her features. "I really should apologize to him again..."Few WORDS | | WILD | | HAVEN'T DONE ONE OF THESE IN AWHILE |

give it up IT'S THE SAME OLD STORY BUT YOU NEVER GET IT RIGHT Amidst her dour train of thought a flicker of malevolent light would catch the eye of the wandering ranger, the woman pausing in her steps to glance in the direction of the eerie glow of the meager flame. The sight of the rather tiny ghost pokemon would fall into her field of vision, granting the small ghost a fraction of her attention away from her thoughts. "Ah, right..." the ginger muttered, as if reminding herself where she was. It was only natural to run into wild pokemon in such an uninhabited area and to be a ghost type at that. Adrian internalized a benign sigh once the candle pokemon had taken notice of her and scampered its way to her feet. "Might as well," the woman continued, bending a knee to see what it was the Litwick wanted. It was a calm pokemon and friendly at that so there was no need to use her stylus on it and return it to wherever it may have been that it had come from. While the ginger held no vested interest in the creature, the Litwick appeared interested in the woman and keen on following her along. Thus the ranger rolled her eyes and took an empty pokeball from her belt to offer to it. No need to cause a fuss. Random WORDS | | Wild | | Catching Litwick |

give it up IT'S THE SAME OLD STORY BUT YOU NEVER GET IT RIGHT The litwick accepted the gesture without question, tapping the empty pokeball and entering its confines with an confirmatory click of the capsule itself. Sighing at the capture, the ginger stood back to her feet and put away the pokeball onto her belt. "Right. Now..." her emerald gaze shifted upwards towards the seemingly endless expanse of darkness before her. Knowing it likely wasn't wise to linger here, she began walking towards the road to the city limits only to be crossed by a rather angry pink puff ball on the road. Normally the woman wouldn't give it much thought, curving her own path in an attempt to walk around the pokemon; however when the singing pokemon had actively moved to realign itself back against the ginger's path, she'd raise a brow. "...?"She didn't know what the problem was but some pokemon had their own quirks. As a ranger it was common knowledge and all so there wasn't much of a question rather being annoyed at the Jigglypuff before her. "Look, I don't have time to play games." A stern statement as she reached to her belt to grab her styler. The puffball squeaked and the ranger gave an exasperated sigh. Yet before she could even initiate anything, a rain of stone edge and fell upon the Jigglypuff. Knowingly, Adrian looked to her right and saw the pair of stark red eyes peering from the darkness. "Absol, that wasn't necessary." The dark type wouldn't respond and the commissioner couldn't exactly strand the unconscious pokemon now. Thus with another empty pokeball, lobbed it at the creature for the capture random WORDS | | wild | | catching jigglypuff |
