witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.

Hunter was furious. More than furious really, she was practically spitting fire. She glared at the male next to her, squirming in her little plastic seat across the desk from their superior. It was a simple mission, move the Charmander nest from it's place to somewhere more safe where kids wouldn't get. Not only had Jaeho fucked the mission up, Hunter's hair was still smoking from where it'd caught fire. She tapped her fingers on her arms impatiently, fuming silently.
The superior, a certain Elite Gray, glanced at both of them before sighing. He pinched the bridge of his nose and Hunter almost commented on it to Jaeho, about how this was all his fault before being interrupted.
"Honeyscuttle don't. Both of you have disappointed me, this was supposed to be an easy mission. You two are notorious now for being difficult to handle."
Hunter slid down in her seat some, face coloring with shame.
"Now explain to me what happened."
Hunter immediately opened her mouth, pointing with much accusation at the guy next to her.
[attr="class","JAENO"]Fite me, would be the correct response from this man child. In front of a superior? Hell no. Even Jaeho knew when to stop, but they were a huge mess when performing their mission. He wasn't the one who screamed at the top of his lungs for bloody murder! It was all Hunter's fault and he knew it exactly!
If she didn't scream, he would have been with his Torchic. Abused and hurt immensely with a cubone, torchic, and hippopotas jumping on his back with glee. His own looks compared to Hunter was perfect! Not a cinder on him.
He still was unsettled with annoyance in the pit of his stomach. When Hunter pointed a finger to him, he immediately stood up. Causing a huge ruckus.
Your honour, it's all her fault! She was the one who decided to scream out bloody murder! He pointed back at Hunter. This was completely unlike him.

"Are you JOKING!?"
She practically screeched, pointing to her hair. Gray seemed at a loss between them for a moment as Hunter went on her miniature rampage.
"YOU SET MY HAIR ON FIRE YOU GIANT DOOFUS!"
oKAY so technically the charizard did, but Hunter was adamant that it was entirely his fault.
"If you hadn't startled the charmander nest that charizard wouldn't have attacked me!!"
Hunter prided herself in being somewhat of a pokemon whisperer. She could get nearly every pokemon she met into a clear and calm mood with a few choice noises and a gentle hand. But an angry mother pokemon? No dice. Never dice. It never worked. Gray sighed and spoke up, looking between the two in exasperation.
[attr="class","JAENO"]Can't blame him for something he didn't do! He just caused a bit of trouble and that was it! Jaeho looked exasperated at Hunter, surely her hair would grow back finely! He wasn't going to receive all the trouble this time. Hey look Hunter, I didn't mean to startle them, but if it weren't for your mumbo jumbo of moving about, then we wouldn't be in this mess would we?
Jae knew better than to shout, but he was tired. And a tired Jaeho resulted in a cranky little child who wants to have candy bought from the store. He was unhappy and in front of an elite too! Jaeho showed no signs of backing down. If butting heads like Tauros' do for dominance works with these two, then it is likely something bad would soon to come.
If it weren't for you screaming, I would have asked my own pokemon to soothe that Charizard!

Hunter stood from her chair, fists clenched. Her jaw was practically creaking from how hard she was grinding her teeth, and her hands itched toward her belt for her pokeballs.
"You wanna fight about it punk!?"
"ENOUGH."
Hunter jumped and paled, sitting back down in her seat when given an icy stare. Gray would turn the stare then to Jaeho just to make sure they were on the same page, before sighing.
"Both of you need a lesson in cooperation clearly. I'll assign you your next mission now."
Hunter was clearly confused, but sat back and continued to pat at her still smoking hair. Gray clasped his hands behind his back and pacing slowly in front of them. He let the nervous tension in the room build for a moment before sighing.
He was rather dramatic.
"Your next mission is to go into town....and enjoy yourselves....together. I'll know if you two don't stay basically stay attached at the hip for the remainder of the day so don't fail. It's about high noon, Dismissed."
Hunter was rather confused. Also where did the term 'high noon' sound familiar from? She stood slowly, nervously exiting the room and waiting for Jaeho to join her. She was at a loss.
"I'm gonna be honest I'm not sure how to relax in town."
[attr="class","JAENO"]Ugh, gross? He's stuck with Hunter for a while. For a while now, Jae thought he could be the optimistic happy go lucky old man. This proved to be wrong when the elite told them to enjoy themselves...together.
Ew, cooties, man you know how I fee -- he stopped when he noticed the look in the Elite's eyes. No reason to mess around now. With a click of his tongue the white haired individual sighed.
Once they were dismissed, Jae took his hat and put it on his head. Just behind appeared to be walking next to her. I'm hungry, how about we just have something to eat? I'd totally am hungry because of that. My treat...? Not like he was going in for her answer. Jae was hungry and when his stomach spoke. It spoke to him.

Hunter hesitated, walking forward with Jae and sighing to herself. Going out to eat would be nice she figured, holding her stomach as it grumbled softly.
"Alright so food is a plus. But it's only noon and we have the whole day, what do they expect us to do exactly?"
She scuffed at the ground with her boot, pouting slightly as they exited the building. She put her hands on her hips, grinning at a gaggle of female cadets who giggled as they passed. Hunter was in her prime here, amongst the gorgeous view of ladies and beach alike.
"There's a little cafe nearby that's really good?"
[attr="class","JAENO"]Only noon? Is that what you see? A smile formed on his lips as he looked at her. The fight from earlier disappeared in teh back of his head. Jaeho has an easy going life and he would prefer pressing on with it too! Complications would make him confused and he would have a hard time recuperating from such drama. I bet they expect us to be buddy buddy, but you and I both know that once we go that direction there's no going back on friendship.
Hey, that actually sounds good, finger sandwiches and some really nice tea? Count me in! He laughed, he was happy. Don't mind the hat he wore. So Hunt, what is your favourite pokemon to have?
He stopped in front of the cafe, waiting for an attendant to take them to their table. No reservation? No problem. He's a charming guy, he could get them somewhere.

Hunter hummed and crossed her arms, her frustration from earlier melting away into something a bit more manageable. She smiled then, enjoying the sensation of the sunshine on her skin and flicked at Jaeho's nose, grinning to herself.
"Friends or not you're still a dork who can't do much right."
She stuck her tongue out as they approached the cafe, leaning against the doorway and winking at the cute waitress.
"My favorite pokemon? Let's see....probably Persephone."
Her mightyena had made a brief appearance during their mission, and she released said pokemon from her ball then. She smiled as Persephone nuzzled her affectionately, and followed the hostess as they were seated. Persephone sat at her feet and waited patiently, knowing she'd be getting a treat.
"What about you dork? Favorite pokemon? Do you have a type team going on? I'm doing ice and poison types."
[attr="class","JAENO"]Well, hell yes, chica! He grinned. I am the most badass looking person in the world who knows what to do in life properly like a boss.
The two were led to the inside of the cafe by a cute waitress. Tall for a young woman with long blonde hair and striking caramel eyes. Her uniform of black and white. Hot damn, if Jae wasn't trying to be cool, he would comment on how sexy the waitress looked.
Mightyena looks adorable, hands down, Jae wanted to pet the pokemon, but tried to repress his hand. As his ambers watched how close the two were, he missed how close he was with his Torchic. How she would mock him all the time and question why he was even born a human and not a pokemon.
Dork? Hunt, I am the epiphany of coolness and badassery. Remeber, I am just that; epiphany of coolness and badassery. Sitting down at the table, Jae immediately skipped from pulling the chair out for Hunt. She should do it for herself, ayways.
I think my favourite would have to be my hippopotas, she's quite the delicate pokemon. But she loves to jump on my back whenever she has the chance. As for team? He paused. He never thought about a specific team for himself. Honestly, He thoguht he was going to decide on one! He kept quiet and shrugged. Beats me! I am seriously at a lost as to what I should have on my team. Right now it's filled with ground types and one fire type, I think.
He's not that competitive. What do you want to order?

"Like a boss? Who even says that anymore? And dude my name is Hunter not Hunt."
She openly laughed at him and Perse raised her head, staring straight at Jae. The mightyena nudged his hand for pets as Hunter snorted, practically choking on her laughter.
"Okay whatever you say Jae."
She flopped down in her chair, tossing the waitress a stellar smile before glancing at the menu in front of her. She scoured the pages, ordering a lemonade from the patiently waiting waitress and smiling again. She was rather versed in flirting and judging by the smile she got in return, the waitress was hella gay.
"Hmm I think I'll get a BLT, something simple."
She closed her menu and slid it toward the waitress.
