Parker felt kind of like an idiot honestly. He was at a set of docks with a fishing pole, more than ready to cast it into the water. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but Pudding and Egg seemed to be enjoying themselves splashing around by the shore while Cracker sat dutifully next to him, wary of the liquid. Parker huffed out a breath and cast his fishing pole down, deep into the water. He ignored the strange stares of the other fishermen in the area, finding this strangely peaceful?

When the fish thing jumped out of the water, admittedly Parker was a bit terrified. It looked gross and mean, and Parker hadn't been prepared for an actually mean looking pokemon. He yelped out slightly, others looking on in sympathy as the Carvanha bit him in the arm. It's jaws clamped down painfully and broke skin, but Cracker managed to jump into action,tearing at the fish. The Carvanha jumped back into the water after a good few hits from Cracker and parker sighed, looking at his bleeding arm. Picking through his med kit in his bag he wrapped up his arm, shaking his head with disbelief. What the actual fuck was that?

What the fu- it was cute. It gently bobbed the bobber under the water and Parker tugged, easily pulling the pokemon up and watching as it flailed around. He slowly lowered it back into the water, brain shorting out for a moment as he tried to figure out what it was exactly. It didn't really matter in the end, it was adorable and staring at him with big eyes and well...he wanted it. He pulled out a pokeball and Cracker gruffed at the poor thing, startling it. Pudding wandered over, staring at Parker as though asking for a fight, but Parker waved him off. The Galactic grunt wiggled onto his stomach and squirmed to the edge of the dock, reaching out a finger to stroke the water pokemon. The chinchou allowed himself to be touched, and even did a twirl in the water. Seeming friendly enough, and happy with the turn of events, Parker tapped the pokeball against the Chinchou and set it on the dock, watching as it shook once, twice, thrice, and then went still.

CHINCHOU WAS CAPTURED!

Parker was honestly kind of done with fish. He'd decided that water pokemon weren't really for him, but damn if that fish wasn't pretty. The goldeen blubbed at him and squirted water into his face, causing him to sputter. He dropped his rod into the depths, and scowled darkly.

"Piece of shit fish!"

He tried to keep his cool and sighed, admitting that the fish was really really nice. Begrudgingly he pulled out a pokeball and threw it, capturing the goldeen.

GOLDEEN WAS CAPTURED!
