Hunter was bundled up in a heavy coat, thick leggings, and winter boots. Triton was the only one who was capable of traversing this heavy snowfall, and was perfectly fine. Hunter gave a deep shiver and looked around, squinting into the snowfall. She was grinning though, breath fogging out into a thick mist. She was feeling fantastic, up and rearing to go and had one hand shoved in her pocket, ready to pull out a pokeball if needed. She was more focused on getting to the cave, but if that snorunt she'd been hunting came up, who was she to complain?

The vanillite would have been a cute addition to her team sure, but she wasn't sure she could afford to waste the pokeballs on it. It had popped up suddenly, and Hunter had tripped over the poor thing before collecting herself. Sitting up in the snow she shook out her hair, and laughed as the vanillite sauntered away as though nothing happened. Her voice seemed to alert it though and the vanillite squealed before running off even faster. Seemed the little guy wasn't a fan of trainers.

When what she was looking for popped out of the snow, Hunter could hardly contained herself. She gasped loudly and pointed a finger at the Snorunt. Triton was on high alert, confused about the sudden shouting. The snorunt also seemed confused, but slowly inched closer to the strange human and her shellder. The snorunt chirped and shivered, glancing up at Hunter and noting her sweater. She began to chirp even more loudly, shivering pathetically in the snow. Hunter unwrapped her scarf, understanding the small pokemons wishes, and wrapped it around the Snorunt.

"Can I call you Amphitrite?"

Despite having captured her new friend, it seems she wasn't yet done. The sneasel was rude, popping up from the snow and hissed at them threateningly, to which Hunter jumped back and yelped. Triton was having none of it though and sent snow flying into the pokemon's face. The sneasel sputtered for a moment and Hunter made an impromptu decision, throwing a pokeball at the sneasel. It shook once, twice, thrice, and the sneasel was hers!
