In one of Veilstone's more posher establishment tonight sat a silverette on his own. Hardly a few days had passed since the Floaroma Festival shenanigans which had left Adrien Arkwright hospitalized and on the front page of a few daily newspapers.
The pain from those few dislocated ribs was subdued by a few painkillers he was on, and the only visible wound was a small bandage above his right eyebrow, most of which was covered by his bangs.
But the embarrassment he faced that day quite well overpowered any sort of pain. Eyes would look down at his smartphone as he read a certain article - - one which was making rounds even today. About a certain ranger who attacked a civilian and how the story gradually got distorted.
He'd sigh. Was it too late to get a new alias and get out of the region? Mm, he'd keep that in mind. Eyes would look his phone and to the empty chair infront of him. His 'date' should be here any minute now...

It feels like ages since he's seen Adrien. He heard about the accident, but due to his current battles with a certain LIAM SUMMERS he hasn't been able to move as he pleased. At every turn the man immediately attacked him going for blood regardless of where they were. The only real exception had been when the man was around LENA RUDDY , however he hadn't seen the ex-ranger since he presented his offer. A move that'd been on purpose. While it was safer for him to travel with the hopeful future commander it'd draw unnecessary attention from other Galactic members and most of all it'd keep Liam around her. Having Liam chase him was beneficial right now as the boy could and would serve as a potential threat to not only the cause, but her well being. Or at least this is what he believes. And so he'd done the next best thing for now knowing Adrien's status among the other galactic and media in general it wouldn't be surprising to have rich supposed playboy take her under his wing and teach her the intricacies of their organization. He just needed warning first as well as other classified information Aster had to share about the future coup d'etat. He walks into the restaurant finding his friend immediately, it's never hard to spot him in a crowd. He takes seat leaning on an arm there's a tinge of concern in his eyes when he sees the man, but of course he'd never admit to it. "How are you feeling? the rumors are just as ludicrous as you'd expect, you know."made by bonnibel

It wasn't long before the dark-skinned male showed up. "D'aw.. So you do care" He'd chuckle and then abruptly. Can't move too much. He'd put away the phone on the table as he leaned back and beckoned for the waiter. "Living on painkillers at the moment but I'll live..." He'd answer with a sigh at Aster's latter statement. All he wished to do at the moment was complain no matter how uncharacteristic of him it was.
"The press is having fun with it; a complicated affair, ranger gone rogue, police brutality... The list goes on," He'd roll his eyes as he took a menu although didn't open it just yet.
Another huff. If anything he wanted to sue them although couldn't since it brought his family name into the spotlight. Speaking of which... "The family isn't too thrilled about it either. Bad press for bussiness...Although they're kinda using it as an excuse to have me back in Celestic..." He'd murmur as his eyes shifted downward, now scanning through the menu.
"And you? Something up or you're just for free food?, " Eyes darted up to the man as he spoke with an undertone of jest. Aster Twain wasn't someone who'd dally about and come here just for his sake. The silverette was curious as to what he had in mind.

"I'd imagine. Maybe from now on you'll be a bit more careful about who you choose to get intimate with, or has the playboy philanthropist, Adrien Arkwright not quite learned his lesson?" He looks up from his menu eyes meeting his for a moment a smarmy look plastered on his face, if the man was able to complain he was alright.
It's Adrien who actually brings up the reason he called this meeting inadvertently as it may be. Still he waits to address it quietly scanning his menu as the man speaks about the more personal consequences of his drunken venture. "Remind me to thank Jason, even if he is our 'enemy' he was there, for you." whatever that meant. "As for the press it's never stopped the great Arkwright family name prior." Having Adrien out of the front lines would be a loss for the organization, but as something of an ally...a friend even, Aster can't help but throw the idea around himself. Sending Adrien for some much needed rest in Celestic Town, it wasn't too bad of an idea.
Adrien speaks again snapping the darker skinned man from his thoughts. "I wish it wasn't business, but you know how it is. There are a couple of things we need to talk about."
"From the work we've done for Galactic have we really seen any changes, gotten any closer to the goal persay?"

"..." The spy just pursed his lips, not quite prepared for that comment despite having heard it a couple of times already. As much as Adrien wished to protest or debate over it, parts of the incident (despite outrageous rumours) seemed plausible enough to believe it - that included the fact that he had instigated the whole show in the first place.
Well... They weren't exactly wrong.
"Hm? Uh, right," He'd look up questioningly at his partner at the mention of Jason, although didn't linger over it too long. Twas best if he could keep the whole boyfriend thing under wraps for as long as possible. Aster's concern over the whole ordeal however was charming nonetheless.
"Yes, but it costs money..." He'd shake his head - - certain contacts in the media were ready to wave off the whole thing for a certain, if not extravagant, price. Adrien would finally place his order and lean back, taking a sip of water as he heard his partner out. "That came out of the blue..." He'd briefly comment, brows knitted together as he thought over his question for a moment.
"No." A single worded answer sufficed, there was no in between. "Unless well, petty thievery at a harmless festival is considered progress," There was adequate sarcasm expressed in his words. Clearing his throat Adrien would proceed to elaborate.
"The grunts slack off. Half of them are dropouts trying to land a job with no real motive," Another sip as he eyed the male. "And I'm not going to lie, at this point the whole idea does seem rather farfetched," He'd roll his eyes. At this point, he himself was tempted to cut down on his priorities concerning Galactic.
"What brought this up, though?"
