 The floaroma festivities were soon to begin and as much as Adrien disdained retracing his steps and halting his journey towards Veilstone, orders were orders. Despite being a spy, there was apparently some business to be taken care of in the rural town. Honestly, what kind of festival could floaroma hold anyway? Honey and Combee were all they were famous for anyway.
Another heavy sigh.
And so here he was, on the route just before floaroma -- begrudgingly treading through the thick grass and earthen steps. His Larvesta was perched on his shoulder, ever the lively one. The pokemon would suddenly halt and jump from it's perch,

A tangela. Adrien would huff and roll his eyes, disinterested in that mess of a pokemon. "Get rid of it." Que would nod in acknowledgement as he scuttled forth and spewed a stream of flame at the tangela. That sufficed in frightening the tangled pokemon and had it prance about in a feeble attempt to douse the flames.
No dice.
With a flamethrower, the Fire bug would quickly eliminate the grass-type. No balls thrown and the duo would just move on ahead. | LARVESTA

Next up; Grovyl. Adrien's eyes lit up, shocked and amazed that such a rare specimen was out here in the open.Was it someone's? Or did someone release it? Either way, the silverette wasn't about to bid time pondering over it. Rather, "Flamethrower!" Being the superior pokemon of the two, the firebug's flamethrower would immediately hit the grovyl --- it sufficient in offing the pokemon,
"That...was easy..." Adrien commented, eyes then narrowing at the fainted pokemon. "Maybe a bit too easy," He'd shake his head as his excitement died. "No wonder someone released you," He'd sigh and walk around the rare specimen. | LARVESTA

And it wasn't long after that he'd come across another, rather pesky pokemon, Murkrows overlapped quite a bit with his present team; one which he was quite content with at the moment. "Flamethrower, then flame charge." A single string of commands which were adhered to immediately.
The larvesta would sear the bird type with hot flames before charging at it with it's body engulfed in flames. The bird would flap back and away from the bug just in the nick of time to escape a terrible defeat. However even so, the next flamethower that hit would utterly destroy the bird and had it collapse onto the dirt floor. | LARVESTA

The larvesta would brace itself as another similar encounter showed itself. Krokoroks were pests. They weren't only a difficult match up for the larvesta but their speed proved to be too difficult to keep up with. "You've done this before..." Adrien would indifferently interject. Indeed the duo had already devised a strategy to take down these creatures.
The bugtype would start off with a flamethrower, which of course, missed the crocodile pokemon as it skidded out of the way and countered with an assurance attack. Larvesta would endure the hit and took opportunity of the lessened distance between them with a sting shot attack.
The silken threads would entangle the beast and slow it down just enough for the larvesta to spew another flamethrower and then finish it off with flame charge. | LARVESTA

A beldum would soon float onto the road, lost and dazed as it locked onto the trainer and his firebug. Adrien's eyes instantly lit up, a find such as this near impossible on usual circumstances. "Flamethrower!" Immediately the larvesta would take off and spew flames at the beldum. The pokemon would swing to its left and evade the attack.
Now agitated, it would slam down at the larvesta with a take down attack. Adiren flinched a bit as dirt erupted around the bug, although the attack itself did a negligible about of damage. "Again!" The flamethrower would hit its mark, the type efficiency having the beldum fall immediately.
A pokeball was tossed soon after.
