 This route had him memories linked to it; good, bad, somewhat bizzare. Twas a mix of it all seeing how he frequented it, either on his own or with family. Either way, passing by it now for some training was wondrous as he knew just where to venture to find a few wild critters.
With Larvesta perched on his shoulder, Adrien would wade through the tall grass, trying his best to ignore the nettles that pricked his calves.
Haah. The things you did for your pokemon.

Surely enough a pokemon would come rolling outta. A whirlpede was always a nuisance, seeing how venomous the pokemon was. Ah well, train and give back to community. "Finish it." Twas all the larvesta needed to execute a perfect flamethrower attack at the bugtype. It would roll about in pain as its bodice was engulfed in pain ans attempted to retaliate with bugbite.
Useless.
Another flamethrower was sufficient in ending the Pokémon, as stupid and of a nusiance it was. | LARVESTA

An adorable vulpix would soon peek out of the brushes, apparently lost from its pack. On its own and away from its brood, the little fox type would fearfully gaze at the trainer and his Pokemon. "Huh... Not bad. Flamethrower." Now while flamethrower against another fire type wasn't very effective, two continuous streams of flames sufficed in somewhat weakening the pokemon.
Now agitated, the vulpix would retaliate with a fire spin and deal some negligible damage. Larvesta's final flamethrower atrack however worked wonderfully in weakening the pokemon.
A greatball would be tossed at it. | LARVESTA

Route 112 was a strange one, no doubt. It had variety mayhaps due to the close proximity to Mt. Coronet. So while he had encountered a vulpix mere moments ago, Adrien was no faced against a hideous abomination. A Grimer. "Finish it!" That was all that the larvesta needed to spew searing flames at the muk.
The flamethrower hit and had the grimer retaliate with nud-slap. Useless. Again, with just another two flamethrowers exchanged for mud-slaps, the grimer would hit the floor in a pile of slime. | LARVESTA

The route was nearly reaching its end when the shrill cry of a bird pokemon caught Adrien's attention. A tranquil hovered and circled the larvesta, apparently interested in playing around with the bug type. Well, not today.
"Flamethrower, " Eyes narrowed as the bird swooped down with a quick attack. The stream of fire quickly had the bird dodge and stray from its intended course, albeit not before the larvar managed to set one of its wings of fire. The bird would panic and quickly lose altitude as it struggled to brush off the flames.
"Another..." Indifferent as ever and as harsh as it seemed, Adrien was adamant in bringing the bird down. The second stream hit the bird right in the torso and had it spiral down onto the earth before them.
Whether it was even alive, he knew not.

A scuttling larvae most definitely attracted birds of prey, evident as a fearow would attempt to pick the bug type up. Que was quick enough to evade it and counter with an instinctive flamethrower. The bird would flap backwards, annoyed but not finished. it would swoop down once more with an ariel ace attack and hit its mark.
"Get up. Another flamethrower and it's good as done," Adrien would order of his pained larvesta. The firetype would shift back on its feet and end the bird with a final flamethrower.
