Athena never had problems going into the catacombs before today. The Town Elders guarding the passage to the endless maze underneath the town were too slow and well… too old to stop her. She may not be physically fit, but she did have her Pokemon help her become elusive. That was how things had been up until the Elders decided to finally get the gears in their brains roaring.
So when Athena had attempted to sneak inside the Forbidden Catacombs once more… she found it barricaded with rocks. It made Athena smile, considering the amount of effort they had put in on this… it would take less than a fraction of the time they took to set it up, only for Athena to break it with one Meteor Mash. Needless to say, the Elders attempted to man handle her, surprising her from the back.
For a moment, Athena thought it amusing, but in their lack of strength, they made up in numbers. “Please do not stand in my way! I hate repeating myself, but for your expired brain cells… once again, I ask you to give me passage!” She pleaded halfheartedly.
The scientist didn’t want to resort to violence especially since she was in broad daylight, but then again, the scientist could sort out the consequences later. She managed to release Mercury from it’s Pokeball. The elders stopped trying to drag Athena away… and stared both in awe and fear at the metallic Pokemon.
“Now…” Athena dusted herself off, jacket, boots and everything. “... Mercury, if you would please remove these dilapidated plebeians from my sight with Psychic. No need to be gentle.”
“Meta!”
The Metagross started glowing pink, and the 5 elders; 3 males and 2 females, begun to rise. Athena watched with satisfaction, a conniving smile on her angelic face. “ Toss them somewhere I won’t ever see them again…”
And with that she decided to head to the catacombs. Once Metagross tossed them, Athena would be able to remove this rubble out of her way. Anyone was more than welcome to save the elders.
“Mercury? You done? I need you to remove this rubble…”
