when you lie i cover it up when you hide i cover it up when you cry i cover it up | Most of the haunted house had been a blur. Scarlette had escaped from it not that long ago, and it sort of felt like a dream. She was sure that if she slept on it, the events would come back to her. But if anyone asked her 'what the hell happened in there?' she'd probably nod like some idiot and even drool a little and not really say a whole lot. Scarlette could recall following a dark haired girl around, who had nice Pokemon that she had been totally prepared to get her hands on. Of course, being surrounded by two other people, even if one of them was a colleague of hers, she hadn't managed to swipe anything. So, for the past few hours after leaving Team Rockets infamous haunted house, Scarlette had found herself wandering up and down the main streets of Jubilife, window-shopping and thinking along to herself about what her next course of action would be. Probably more pickpocketing, or maybe out of town to go training. Romeo and Juliet were so close to being ready to face a gym, she could feel it. She herself though did not feel prepared. It had been several days after her obstacle course against her other galactic grunt equals, and she did not feel ready to get her ass kicked again. Her nose had butterfly stitches or something similar. Her face generally looked a little bit puffy after being smoked in the face with a stone edge wall. She was still recuperating. With her hands buried deep in her trenchcoat pockets, Scarlette had stopped in front of a small coffee shop. The overpowering smell of caffeine was enough to wake her up, even though she didn't quite like the taste of it. She had gone in and come out as quickly as she could with a hot peppermint tea. Mostly she just held it between her small, cool hands to seek out some warmth, and decided to just casually stand up against the windows of the shop and wait. She had no rush for the moment, nothing in particular. Galactics didn't seem to have very many missions, which is probably why she was always getting into trouble. adrien arkwright |
