major news alert!
witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
They say life's a waste, I say they lack belief. They tell me luck will travel, I tell them that's why I got feet. Left right left right, moving along to the pulse of a heartbeat.
Amelia leans back against the wall of her chamber, pulls up her knees, and crosses her arms in front of her. She knew it'd be dangerous, but her parents had pushed her to it. Learn about the world, they'd said. Now she's being kidnapped. And she can't do anything about it.
At least they have a bed.
Galactic HQ had been a lot more lively than she'd expected it to be. Blame her sheltered lifestyle, but Amelia didn't think that she'd see such a normal looking place --once they had led her through the heavy security at the entrance, she'd noticed that it looked like more of a business. People walking to and fro, more often than not in professional looking clothes.
But when they left her in this room, doors locked and few amenities to spare, she remembered that this is a terrorist organization, and that she has to be careful if she ever wants to come out. With her pokemon. They've taken her pokeballs, and her hips feel painfully bare without them. Amelia just hopes that they don't treat them badly. It's not their fault that they're in here.
She takes a deep breath and ducks her head into her arms, trying not to panic too much.
It was a day plagued with headaches. From sun up he'd been dealing with the issues concerning the incompetence of various grunts throughout the organization. The latest strike of this disease propagating itself admidst his organization had to do with someone they captured only because the members involved were caught during an operation by a bystander. That bystander was currently locked away in one of the organization's safe rooms.
"Transport her to meeting room three 421 I'll deal with it. Have the grunt's report to Arkwright's office for punishment." What the spy said in response was alarming if only for a moment.
"Sir it was under admin Arkwright's command that she was brought to the base." If Adrien brought the girl here of his own desire that was a different story entirely, the man hadn't been as much distant as simply not around, perhaps he was smitten with her? No, that wasn't how the devilish admin operated. And so now Aster had a new mission, to find out who exactly this special lady was and what exactly made her so important.
The man raised a palm to his forehead massaging his temples for a moment. He'd talk with his fellow Admin later whatever the reason Aster didn't care for keeping civilians imprisoned. That being said, if Adrien wanted her here he couldn't just let their guest leave amongst other reasons. And so with the newest problem in the forefront of his mind, he departs from his office on his way to the designated meeting chamber making sure to retrieve her pokemon along the way.
Upon entering golden eyes immediately find themselves on the girl; It was apparent fear had long since claimed the woman not that it was at all surprising. Still, she at least looked uninjured hopefully that would work in his favor. "I apologize for your treatment, I know coming from a stranger this most likely sounds incredulous but we have no plans to hurt you or your pokemon. Were you been harmed at all in your transport? I have medics on hand if necessary." Aster wouldn't reveal any other information concerning her team or really her situation quite yet, truthfully the man had gone about this as neutrally as possible keeping poised as he spoke to the woman.

Amelia picks up her head at the sounds of steps, fingers squeezing at her knees, eyes catching on the golden hues of his. Amelia shrinks back into the wall. While his appearance wasn't obviously menacing nor intimidating, he held himself in a certain type of authority that surely denoted his rank inside the terrorist organization.
His tone is clipped and intensely formal--she would even go to lengths to say that it was polite. Such speech both surprised her and made her slightly nervous. She's seen it in movies. These people didn't need to be aggressive to get their message across. He's not hostile, but Amelia can't tell whether or not it's an attempt to get her to become more friendly.
"...I'm okay."
Amelia responds anyways, guilt gnawing at her stomach despite knowing that she has every right to be petulant and silent. One answer won't hurt...and she knows that it's better to cooperate than not. Amelia has no idea how long she'll be in here, but she doesn't want to make her stay here anymore worse.
His next question, however, makes her hesitate. She hesitates to give out such information. Adrien must have not informed him yet, and she dreads the moment that she'll have to talk to him. Amelia purses her lips and looks away, because she can't agree all the time...
A careful girl, even in her fear she hadn't broken. "Aster." He wouldn't give the girl his job title, but she'd be familiar enough with the name from the wanted posters among other various forms of media, if she cared to watch it. "Good. I don't know what exactly you think of us, but if what you've since your arrival is indicative of anything, then understand we're not quite the monsters or terrorists the world makes us out to be. Take comfort in that we aren't savages." It's more of an order than a statement perhaps out of habit at this point.
He'd stand walking to the coffee machine by the table. It was instant coffee, but it'd have to do. If Isabelle saw she'd be looking down on him thoughts of the caffeine connoisseur lingered only for a moment before he spoke up again, "Tea or Coffee? It's nothing special but I doubt you've been fed or given anything to drink since your arrival. Water is also an option."
If she gave any kind of preference he'd pour the girl a cup and leave it on her side of the table before returning to his own. The man wouldn't talk business yet. "I'm curious. Be completely honest as a civilian what exactly do you think of team Galactic? I'd ask you don't sugarcoat your thoughts. In your eyes what do you believe we do here?" He'd sip his coffee waiting for the girl's answer. He'd hoped for something honest, but due to her current situation he couldn't fault her if she chose to sugarcoat her words.
They say life's a waste, I say they lack belief. They tell me luck will travel, I tell them that's why I got feet. Left right left right, moving along to the pulse of a heartbeat.
Aster was his name, something she recalled seeing plastered across posters, displayed on TV screens, and heard in the whispers of other trainers. Amelia hadn't recognized him at first, but now she knows that a very dangerous, powerful man is standing in front of her. The very thought makes her heart beat faster, and she tries not to let it show on her face.
"...I'm Amelia." She says, because he did give his name first. She hides her face in the crook of her arm, listening to him as he speaks. He's right, she didn't get hurt and she has a nice room to herself. But she would never take those amenities at the cost of her freedom and pokemon.
She watches as he walks over to the table with a coffee machine. "Tea." She mumbles. She is a little hungry and thirsty. Amelia might as well take whatever she can while she's here. Aster pours her a cup and places on the side of the table. She reluctantly takes it into her hands, cupping it and taking small sips.
"I don't like Galactic." She confesses. She tightens her grip on handle of her cup. "Your people kidnapped me and hurt one of my friends. I don't know what you guys do but it sure isn't for the better of humanity." Amelia bites her lip, looks to the side, and wonders whether it would be better to take it back and sugarcoat.
