"How dreadfully dull," a sharp disinterested voice would comment upon entering the synthetic sanctum known as the Eterna gym. After finishing up business in Oreburgh and claiming her badge from the pathetic brat that called themselves a gym leader, Victoria wasted no time traveling to the next town over for the next gym challenge. No doubt it would be as simple as the first and her past experiences facilitated that confidence that exuded from the woman's form. It was to no surprise when a burst of disgustingly warm, humid air greeted exposed skin; a sneer of revulsion prominently displaying on her otherwise nonchalant features as the blue haired vixen briskly walked through the unnatural facade that was the man made recreation of a habitat. The longer the woman was here, the deeper she ventured towards the center to commence the battle, the more frequently her icy gaze wandered about the conservatory.
"Ugh. This reminds me of the biodome but infinitely worse," she mumbled to herself, clearly unimpressed by the sights. Each step came with the crunch of the grass underneath heeled boots that eventually halted once Victoria had finally arrived to the clearing of the battlefield. There was a greeting that the woman cared little for, Victoria scoffing as she placed a hand to her hip and offered her cold glare to the younger woman that stood across from her. "Don't waste my time. Three on three should suffice, correct?" The gym leader looked taken aback by Victoria's tone and attitude, warning her against underestimating a gym leader. Again the celeste haired woman scoffed, "Provide me with a reason not to and I'll consider it."
Now this made the other woman livid, angrily declaring that she'd show no mercy as she sent out the three grass pokemon as predicted of someone that maintained a glorified greenhouse. Needless to say this fell right into Victora's hands, the heartless woman scanning each of the creatures that had appeared before her. Truthfully only a single pokemon would be necessary to dispatch of the lot, however there was a need to test the capacity of her newly recruited armaments. Tossing out three pokeballs on a whim, three pokemon would emerge of varying types as opposed to her opponent. The first two, Seadra and Cryogonal, stood as self-assured as ever. The third, a shivering Roselia, would stand nervously behind the giant floating snowflake much to her master's general ire. "Rosalind. I won't remind you again that I do not tolerate failure." At the words the Roselia appeared to jump in moderate fear, knowing full well what the woman intended by those words. Thus once there was a succession of two vivid snaps from the stern hand of the Galactic woman there was no hesitancy in regards to following the lead of the Seadra.
A thick black smoke filled the area laced with the glint of yellowish powder that came with the combination of smokescreen and stun spore. Flooding the field and the surrounding environment, the crystalline ice type was able to move undetected as it hovered higher into the air. Emitting an artificial screech, a powerful surge of ice inundated the enclosure. The once warm and pristine conservatory drowned to become a frosty lair far from anything a grass specialist would ever wish upon the plants within their care. The gym leader would only take notice once the permeated cold had reached her form and afterwards became wide eyed in realization. There was no visual proof, the two of them blind to what was happening on the field, however it was unlikely that anything but Victoria's total victory was assured on that stage.
"Falcone would have put up a better fight." Victoria declared without that affirmation, almost knowingly at that. It was clear she was recalling something and taking it out on the grass specialist, but that would be giving her too much credit. "Of course, Falcone was also smart enough to enforce rules to protect his goods."
Victoria didn't feel sorry in the slightest. It was her own incompetency that led to this result and the need for the badge that led her to this fate.
[attr="class","zv4"]O how he loves you, darling boy. O how, like always, he invents the monsters underneath the bed to get you to sleep next to him, chest to chest or chest to back, the covers drawn around you in an act of faith against the night.
