"Jeez don't get too excited now Patty." He joked about her response to him asking her to dance, while extending a hand for her to take. Despite the joke he was still gonna be a nice polite and sweet 'date' and lead her to the dance floor. Keeping ur secret though that she'd probably have to lead him through all the dances, Corbin was good at being a ranger, fighting, and pokemon battling, not dancing at all. "Cmon ill lead the way."
Assuming she took his hand Corbin would lead her over to the ballrooms dance floor, and if she didn't take his hand or something he'd head on over there anyway expecting her to follow. After all sure did agree to dance with him. "You know i was gonna ask you to be my date to this thing. Figured you'd be working all night long or something."
With that said the man looked around add he waited a tad bit for the current song to end. Once it ended and the next song began corbin would bow a bit, still trying to be polite. "May i have this dance ms Patty?"

[attr="class","unstable"] [attr="class","stability"] [attr="class","stable"]She wasn't sure if this was the greatest of ideas. A dance with Corbin was a bit off for her. Whatever view she had of him was being forced in the back of her head as she mustered a smile. Pearl whites gleam as she was led to the dance floor. She took his hand and raised a brow. Corbin Cole knew how to dance? Actual dancing and not club party dance? Learn something new everyday, I guess. Well, you know, even if you asked me, I would have rejected you, she bluntly put out. I am busy, but, I guess I was one of those few rangers who had to come. I even brought paperwork and I am positive Adrian is steaming, considering all the commotion. Perhaps he took it too far, with the bow and calling her 'miss'. Without much a thought, she held her hand out to him. A thin lipped smile on her features as she nodded. Perhaps one dance wouldn't be too much of a trouble. "He couldn't help but laugh ever so slightly at calling her miss, even he could tell that was too proper for him. As she took his hand Corbin would send a smile her way, not some super flirty slu grin, but a genuine smile. "It wont be that bad i promise." He said with a quick nod of his head, trying to keep the good mood up. Even if it was because she would of been busy the thought of being rejected made his heart drop into his stomach.
It wasn't that he thought he was so good that no one could reject him or anything like that, he was genuinely crushing on her. After the pair started dancing it wouldnt of been too long before Corbin had accidentally stepped on her foot. He truely wasn't that good at this dancing thing.
"Sorry sorry" He panickly said while his face grew slightly red out of embarrassment. "It was an accident, im not that good at this dancing thing."

[attr="class","unstable"] [attr="class","stability"] [attr="class","stable"]" You promise, and then at one point you're going to turn your back and do the chicken dance to humiliate not only me, but also the Rangers too," she sighed. Her joke hopefully noticeable as she smiled at him. As he held her close and the song slow for the dance, she went around with him, oddly enough he was yet to -- never mind, he stepped on her toes. She didn't flinch and instead sighed. " You unable to dance doesn't faze me one single bit." Patty didn't want to hurt his feelings as much, so, instead of leaving him to fend for himself, she began to lead the way. " Two steps forwards and one step back. That's how you dance, Corbin. Try it with me now." She slowed herself down and began to lead the dance. If she just had time to teach Corbin how to dance, she would have likely taught all psychic pokemon how to talk to her in perfect English. The former would take longer, since, to her, Corbin is quite slow on learning. " Better?" She asked as she looked at him with a brilliant glow in her eyes. She was successful and she loved every part. Sighing in relief as she forgave him..although a bit bluntly at that. As the red began to fade from his cheeks a bit Corbin would nod his head, following her steps as she tried to teach him how to dance. Quite the contrary to what Patty thought about him Corbin was actually a pretty quick learner. Sure he was kinda hot headed but he was still a pretty smart dude after all, this was simply just the first dance he attended. Thus the man never learned to dance up until this point.
"Much better." He said with a smile on his face, following her steps while staring into her eyes, trying to be all romantic and what not. With a slight chuckle the male shook his head slightly before muttering out. "I don't know the chicken dance either so don't worry. The only embarrassment will be if I fall down or something." Still following in her steps as he said that he couldn't help but smile a bit more thanks to the situation. She was actually a pretty good lead so far, this was all working out a lot better then he thought it would.
Still trying to be all sappy and romantic he continued staring off into her eyes, admiring the glow in her eyes. It seemed she was pretty proud of how good a job she was doing at leading too. "You know, you look lovely today." Corbin said with the smile still on his face, the smile seeming genuine of course, he was enjoying his time here after all.
