witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.

[attr="class","beab"] a ranger admin that won't take your shit. she's not very friendly, likes her distance and her coffee. friends are okay, enemies are more common. she doesn't care for being clung to, but she is extremely open-minded and willing to make acquaintences, but dislikes petty crime and doesn't care for children.
rangers, competent people, people who can talk and snark and people who are outspoken like she is are those she enjoys the company of. she's a solid friend, extremely reliable, and a little tempered, but she's kind and frank for the most part. needs a best friend to get through her, and some casual friends and snark buds. she's gotten busier, and somewhat less spoiled, and also has less time for friends these days. nevertheless, she won't turn an offer for a break down as long as you're either persuasive, or it's coffee.
on the other hand, she's spoiled and distant and doesn't really do touchy feely. seems cold and arrogant and doesn't care to rectify that view of others. hotheated, sarcastic and snarky, obviously has some frenemies and rivals and straight up hates. needs some ranger hates and galactic hates, people she can jokingly hate and openly hate.
currently in a relationship with jason day, and she's not exactly looking for other people. it's possible there are some rich guys her parents forced on her before, some exes here or some friends with benefits she's recently stopped talking to, or a person that likes her. whatever you want to do, i'm down for anything. give me some angst or hate or really nice fluff.

friends are everywhere for katelyn. she actively seeks new people, engages in conversations, and is interested in trying everything before she dies. to her friends, she's loyal and usually the core of their moral support because she knows just what to say. her friends are put on a pedestal above the rest, and she'll support them in good or in terrible. kat avoids enemies that aren't rivals. they're pointless, and hard on her huge heart. she's good at evading conflict, and if she figures you don't like her then she'll be a little hurt, and try her best to makes things work, and then move on. it's no use surrounding herself with negative energy, at least according to her.
katelyn is a bisexual gal that's never been in a relationship but has had her share of crushes. her heart's never been broken, but it's never been completed by another, either. she thinks love is all things wonderful, and that everyone has a destiny!! double exclamation marks can never lead to good things; pls break the cutie.

[attr="class","beab"] naomi reinhardt is a rocket enforcer who isn't deluded enough to believe murder is justice, but is deluded enough to believe that she can bring justice. in fact, if she wasn't all for team rocket taking over the world and exploiting pokemon to get there, she'd be the nicest person you've ever met. let's be real though, she probably still is. reserved yet caring, and with an eye that will doubt the world and yet give it a second chance if it asks, naomi has a heart that fluctuates so rapidly between hard and soft she could probably do the good cop bad cop routine with one person.
friends are a strange term, because despite attracting people with her quiet charisma and genuine care, naomi is still judgemental about people who aren't in team rocket, and has a little bit of a gang mentality. she can come to like just about anyone, though, just be noted that she probably values her own ideals and her own goals above you, unless she's stated otherwise. her friends will be subject to torment such as constant care, overbearing worrying, constant critiques, benevolence beyond measure. fair warning though, naomi has a lot of upkeep you need to do as well, as she often burns herself out in the process of risking her life for something as flimsy as a concept.
enemies are easy. catch her as nyx, wearing her pretty mask, or openly bash on team rocket, or be a target of her latest mission. naomi has learned to put her feelings aside for certain things. even though the vast majority of her enemies are enemies by association, it's possible for naomi to not like someone as well. she dislikes the sadistic types, the chaotic types, and is actually pretty sensitive to harsh lashing outs and critiques. she's also a terrible perfectionist, doesn't like talking about herself, is way too harsh, and can seem like a self-righteous bitch. sometimes.
love..? well, she doesn't know. naomi is type to seek meaning beyond casual encounters. she's picky and takes her time with love, and wants authenticity above all else. she might takes years to reciprocate your feelings, but she's passionate and loyal, which does count.

[attr="class","beab"]ABOUT julius is a galactic-hating ex-ranger that's perpetually stuck at the mental age of ten. he's childish and yet quite charismatic, but gets extremely vengeful if you tick him off. he's cocky, flirtatious and is ruthless once he's obtained a clear view of what he wants.
drinking friends, old friends, good friends, rivals. julius needs a lot of friends, because he likely has many. from his days of skipping ranger school, to his days cycling in jubilife, to his years as a ranger, to the brief moment he was a breeder, julius has always had friends. people he looks out for-- he's strangely dependable, protective and a generally solid if not annoying guy. julius, however, does not like galactic or criminals. call it bad blood, but illegal activity just makes him want to annoy you ten fold, and he's got a personal motive against galactic for burning his house down. now that he's not tied down by a badge, he's pretty brutal when it comes to his sense of justice. it's also really easy to hate him, so yeah.
julius has been in too many relationships to count. he's terrible when it comes to commitment, and he's like one of those people that can forget about your birthday or anniversary, but then to the craziest and sweetest thing the next day and be entirely genuine in both his blatant obliviousness and passion. it never lasts. he doesn't know why..
JULIUS KINGSTON EX RANGER HYPOCRITE MID MUSE

[attr="class","beab"] leah arkwright is a young and polite girl with an air of charisma and kindness and sense of justice to her that people often enjoy. she's also incredibly fake, vaguely sadistic and likes being unhealthily competitive in whatever she does. she likes to pretend there's a stark difference in between those two personas of hers, but often time she just walks the line of over-enthusiastic sister and overly-ambitious rich girl.
besides that, though, she can also be never ending in a quest for validation and respect, and all she really wants is to do something that garners her appreciation and joy. despite being a little ruthless in her means, her end is a happy one, the same as everyone else's. she believes that there can be a way, and she most guarded dream is create a better world. she has fake friends that she pretends to be nice to but can't actually stomach, friends that know her on the inside as well and magnify her ambitious persona, and friends that know her little middle ground that she reluctantly agrees is closer to her true self. she probably has some enemies and people she can't pretend to like because ugh.
as for love, she's a firm believer of men are pigs and i don't need no man, but hey, that's up to change. and pretty girl like her probably has some pretty people after her. but since a young age she's been sort of decided that she'd be married to a rich guy, so she's not too fussed about love, it's not exactly on her mind. she guesses she wouldn't mind it, though.

Iba doesn't have much patience for youngster sass, but that doesn't mean she wants to make enemies out of the rangers she works alongside. Stop by Iba's diner in Oreburgh sometime for a Ranger discount + sweet sweet Ranger gossip. :^ ) I think the two could get along though regardless of first impressions! Iba is fairly snarky herself, so as long as the sass is in good humor they'll have fun.

I like how they have different views about romance. Iba has her experience and is a lot more realistic about how relationships can go, but she lost a romantic spark of hope that Mikayla could inspire back in her. Like. Iba isn't looking for love after her last wife since she lost interest but maybe some talks could inspire her into signing up for a dating site or something for hilarious antics with Mikayla's help.
also Iba would be a fan of any coordinator she personally knows so she'd def support Mikayla and watch her perform whenever wherever.
it'd also be interesting if the lockheart last name spread about iba's diner and got the rangers to get all eerily suspicious of mikayla and wtf iba for being so friendly with her.
i'm certain isabelle will have the class to refrain from sassing up an elderly citizen, but i'm also certain iba's seen isabelle get all rough and snarky with everyone else, she's been around and maybe iba saw her at a ranger's night out at her diner in orebrugh; they could definitely meet some time! isabelle would probably think iba's chill bc all the other old ladies she knows and vicious and care only about getting their grandchildren married to someone richer.

d-did i say mika was a coordinator? well she probably will b/is at heart, and loves coordinators as well and probably makes up routines and things, so iba is free to watch her and give her some wisdom from the wise. as for the whole lockhart shenanigans, i don't think mika tells her last name to people! she doesn't know how deep she's in, but she did run away from home so she'd probably just introduce herself as mikayla. however, iba catching onto some lockhart gossip and in a friendly manner telling it all to mikayla without knowing that it'd shake her up could work as drama?
These two are both rangers and strive to make it big. I could possibly see these two developing a friendly rivalry with each other. At the same time, these two could have a genuine friendship, too! Sasha is kind of the opposite of Isabelle to be honest. Sasha is extremely outgoing and a social butterfly. She loves making new friends, hanging out with people and just enjoying life overall. I could see her trying to persuade Isabelle to become more sociable and less of a loner. Who knows how successful she would be at completing that task though. Also, these two could bump heads, too. Sasha is a sweetheart for the most part, but she can turn into a name that rhymes with witch within the blink of an eye. It's mostly when she thinks someone is trying to hurt her or her loved ones or because someone disrespected her.
i don't think isabelle will really like her first impressions of sasha, and where their relationship goes would probably depend on how they meet eachother first! sasha could try and persuade isabelle, with the later rudely or a bit...sharply turning down her offer of whatever (unless it's coffee, she can't turn down coffee), and somehow it leads to a pokemon battle and the creation of a rivalry. as for making sasha angry, i'm not sure if anything isabelle does will tick her off, but it very well might. as for sasha ticking isabelle off, well, it's hard not to piss her off pfft. i think a rivalry works well! where/how did you want to thread?
hi I heard you like drama sad stuff and angst, in no particular order ♡ I have a couple in mind but some stick out more than the rest obviously.
YOU'RE THAT LITTLE GIRL! @mikayla obviously towards the youngest of your characters. Jaeho, before becoming a ranger has been doing part time work for years. He's always been the funny one too. Always cracking jokes and making others smile. In this instance, perhaps when Mika was a young lass, Jaeho found her lost in a huge city. She obviously told him bluntly that she could find her way back to her luxurious family home, but, Jae knew better and just helped her along the way. As such, when he helped her, he was probably offered to look out for her + be her guard?
the sad part is when Mikayla probably said she wanted to marry him when she was older, but he kept on smiling and said "sure, when that time comes I'll watch you walk down that aisle with beautiful white and red azaleas in your hand.
Jae was probably fired because the parents or other competition who wanted Mika's hand marriage were all "hell no, blue collar my butt, he ain't being part of the fam". Since then, she probably grew angry at him when he left her alone. Their reunion is probably bittersweet and Jae is just wearing a weird looking mask and is just "care to hold a white and red azalea? it's on the house". thenshecanpunchhimintheface
WE DRANK WE DINED julius kingston , so honestly, I feel like Jae and Julius go karaoking once a week just to have their blunder of fun. They probably had one of those days where they drank too much and just wander down the city lights singing and leaning on each other. Probably they were about to get mugged and Jae is just "go giv'em hell Julius, I choose you" and the two go back and forth on who should battle the mugger. In the end, they are in a hotel with a horrible migraine and are like "let's never do this again" (but they do it anyways lmao).
Serious note though. Jaeho was likely his mentor, always telling him to stick to his guts and you can never go wrong sort of teaching. They're friends, but Jaeho unintentionally disappears all the time leaving the poor Julius by himself going "wtf, that asshat".
WE TALKED OF LOVE BUT WE KNOW OTHERWISE xiomara green is exactly the type of girl Jaeho probably would have drinks with and not be awkward with, especially with how much of a cat she can be to people which would have attracted Jaeho in the first place. I was thinking along the lines that they probably met somewhere beforehand but never as much talked (or perhaps he saw her at a bookstore when she was reading to children and he was tuning in just to hear the story). When the two meet again, I'm positive Jaeho would be the trickster as he was/is and talk to Xio once more without realising she's a Galactic Member!
Genuinely, I am curious about a cat and mouse game between Jae and Xio, mainly because it would be an interesting fit. The Rangers might have assigned him to find the infamous hacker, X. Maybe he gets in her way, or maybe she gets in his way. Frustration and the feel of anxiety to rile the two up. What if they get too close and suddenly everything goes down the rabbit hole as soon as Jae finds out that Xio is a Galactic member? Would she follow the rabbit to the castle or be stuck with the Cheshire denying and faking?
This of course would be a lot of development to work with, we could start with whatever really and work out way somewhere.

An honest and straight forward assessment of most characters you have is that Artemis would flirt with them. I think with Isabella in particular would be fun since she likes to flirt back. Something cheeky and fun while leading Artemis on. Of course, just what happens is unknown.
As for Julius, something akin to a rival would make most sense, to me. Julius seems to be something like an opposite to Artemis, at least in some ways and a rival would do good for Artemis. Of course, at the moment Julius outclasses Artemis and the fact that he hate elitist people leads me to believe he is mostly humble. So perhaps he allows Artemis to get too full of himself and then immediately mobs the floor with him.
isabelle night & Adrian Mastry They're super similar in that they're both rangers with no nonsense attitudes. Adrian also hates incompetent people and does not care about what other people think about her. I think they could get along and be friends, cause god knows that Adrian needs those. As long as they keep on the same page and aren't insulting each other, think that's how it'll go?

isabelle night & Adrian Mastry We could do both! Normally Adrian wouldn't go out drinking with any old person so going on the mission first in the wastelands might be ideal. Warm up to each other and then go drinking afterwards! Since Adrian isn't from the region either and hasn't been around long, Isabelle could also catch her up to current events at some point. She still has no idea what happened in Floaroma except that it highlights the failures as a ranger.
Honestly, I want nothing more than Art to get his shit kicked in. By that I definitely me his world, and what better way than to be completely and utterly put in his place? Also, I'm down for them to have a past. Artemis is pretty reluctant to share his past, and having someone close from before...Hey, that'd be great. He can read people pretty well, but we can only see through a thread.
katelyn iver & @felon I just see them being really funny together. Ezra would probably be into gossip and burning time through texts. Probably be that type of goofy kid that tries to act all impressive when she's around, and I could see her being a total buzzkill but still managing not to offend him. Or like a quirky big sister/little brother complex, maybe.
julius kingston & DMITRI KHVOSTOV Actually really bummed this isn't the same Julius; I was hoping this could be a reunion for Dmitri and Julius from Hoenn, (I basically just made a clone Dmitri but with more progression.) But depending on your bio, maybe we can do a flashback and give them some gritty backstory? ayyyy dmitri! if you want them to have a history, julius was a ranger stationed in sinnoh that treated criminals pretty harsh, and i'm down for anything. he could have had some run ins with dmitri, jailed him before, been is usual jackass self? on one hand, julius has lost his badge now and therefore his authority...but on the other, his badge no longer binds him anymore. anything could have happened that made them enemies; an idea could be that julius's older sister was involved and iunno dmitri could have had to blackmail her or something (she's a journalist) and juls would have obviously reacted, idkk. there are so many ways to make an enemy out of juls tbh :v

I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER SOMEONE ASKING IF KATELYN COULD BE JOHNNY'S FIRST CLIENT.
But I know that wasn't really a hard and fast promise, so, no pressure. I'd actually want these two to meet if you're still interested? And If you're not fixated on her being a client, I actually have my own dumb idea for them; These days, Johnny's "Hero for Hire" work isn't much more than doing mundane chores for people. I was thinking he'd be hired to babysit, and be at the mercy of, someone's obnoxious kid. This kid insists on not only having Johnny catch pokemon for him, but also, battle trainers for his amusement: This is where Kat comes in. Johnny, asks/beg/convinces her to help him out with a quick battle aaaand, perhaps we go from there with more threads in the future? I certainly hope so, let me know what you think.
