I have known terror dizzy spells Finding out the secrets words won't tell Whatever it is it can't be named There's a part of my world that's fading away Johnny can’t help but rub at the empty space on his belt; two pokemon was technically a team, but not much of one, and not much of a threat to team rocket if they ever decided to stage another fucking terrorist attack and hold Jubilife’s mayor hostage again. He was a hero in name and delusion only, and he knew that, even if he’d be hard-pressed to admit it. He thinks back to the things his mother used to say whenever he became frustrated. Whenever his ego and expectations cracked under the pressure of a cold, indifferent reality. Baby steps.Or baby pokemon, more likely. Johnny thinks back again, this time to when he was little and wanted to command an army of dragonites. He knew, in the moment, that he probably wouldn’t find any soldiers that fit that mold (and thus, another one of his dreams would go unfulfilled), but he figured there had to be something worth catching. He might as well be the one to do so. MADE BY VEL OF GS

I have known terror dizzy spells Finding out the secrets words won't tell Whatever it is it can't be named There's a part of my world that's fading away He was kidding when he thought of baby pokemon, but apparently he was at least somewhat on point; one gelatinous, psychic and (most importantly) adorable baby pokemon lies in his general path, and despite how much he wants a new pokemon, he reneges on any ideas about attacking. And then, a feeling. He feels a tugging on his mind, and realizes that the pokemon is communicating telepathically. There’s no hostility on either end, a fact assured by the mental link they share. Johnny tells the pokemon, Solosis, an abridged version of his story, and convinces it to join him, at least for a little while; if it ever communicates a desire to leave, he'd gladly set it free. Otherwise, they'd stay together. He casually tosses an empty pokeball at the creature, and waits for the classic, shake, shake, click that most trainers know all too well. This hunt is off to a beautiful start, Johnny believes. MADE BY VEL OF GS

I have known terror dizzy spells Finding out the secrets words won't tell Whatever it is it can't be named There's a part of my world that's fading away The rest of the trek is uneventful for the most part, but his encounter with a newly befriended Solosis had ushered Johnny into a state of warmth and calm. Talking a pokemon into joining his team was a refreshing change of pace from the usual trainer narrative. This pleasing state, however, would be invaded by the waft of a putrid smell. A weezing, of all things, enters his general vicinity and Johnny doesn’t waste second when he looks at it to utter a dismissive ”Nah…” He picks up the pace, entering a half-hearted jog and hopes to widen the distance between himself and the toxic pokemon. Let’s move on, shall we, he thinks. /Johnny ran awayMADE BY VEL OF GS

I have known terror dizzy spells Finding out the secrets words won't tell Whatever it is it can't be named There's a part of my world that's fading away Johnny’s bit of impromptu exercise ends. There’s enough space between himself and the unfortunate fog of weezing’s gas, he decides. He finds himself in a different kind of situation, however, when a rustle of grass commands his attention. A seemingly intentional distraction, as a Meowth appears in the blink of eye, deftly lifting Johnny’s wallet from his coat pocket. ”What the shit!?” he shouts in surprise. The meowth breaks into a run immediately, with Johnny close on its tail. Johnny releases his starly, Freddie, and commands it to use AERIAL ACE on the sticky-fingered feline. The move connects, and Johnny doesn’t hesitate to throw an empty pokeball at the meowth. He did come out to catch pokemon after all. The attempt is successful, and Johnny picks up the newly captured meowth before reaching for his wallet. Forget winning some and losing some, Johnny decides to head home, content only with the idea that he’s just won it all. MADE BY VEL OF GS
