witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.

Well.. Here we are, and here goes literally everything.
Sure, she was part of Team Galactic for say a year by now, but there were always the new recruits that she had to end up seeing within the Head Quarters. Even if she had grown comfortable with the majority of the other older members after they gladly let her join Team Galactic - probably because of her parents. They were pretty well-liked from what she's heard, but she could be totally wrong. Goodness.. This was nerve wreaking.
While walking down the hallways with the typical uniform on her figure, her little Vulpix was perched over on her shoulder whilst nuzzling the girl's cheek. For today, she finished up all her assignments and jobs and so was free to do what she pleased for the next few hours. Perhaps she could hop on over to that resting room and sleep in one of the beds? Or maybe she could drop by the department store and stock up on items? There was always the option of going out and battling some trainers in order to rack up some money from them. But with the pokemon she had at the moment.. She actually wasn't sure if that were such a good idea. Perhaps catching some around the city would be fun.
In the end, it looks like she was just loitering around the hallways like a lost ducklett. True, she had been part of Team Galactic for about a year or so since she became eligible to become a trainer.. But that doesn't mean that she sometimes got lost. Considering how large the establishment was, even she found herself getting lost. Ugh.. Probably should have tried putting up a map somewhere. It would really be useful if someone were to just hang up maps here and there just so both grunts, spies and recruits wouldn't get so lost so often. Sure, the co-workers were polite enough to tell you where it all was. That doesn't mean that they don't get even a little annoyed at such a question.
Crud.
As much as she hated to do this, Ambrose had to swallow down her worries and look for someone. Fortunately, - and almost on cue - someone had turned the corner, coming into the teen's sights. It was a long shot to ask them, since they might not know and she would look like a complete idiot. It would be even more embarrassing if they were a recruit. I mean, a grunt asking a recruit for directions? You'd usually see the opposite scenario happening..
"Excuse me?" Her soft voice chimed out, in an attempt to catch said member's attention. "I'm sorry for bothering you, but would you happen to know where the resting room is?" She asked, with the words practically rolling off her tongue in such a dull tone. From her shoulder, the little Vulpix peeked out before hiding behind her neck again. Poor little thing was shy you see.
Her tied-back blue hair weaves silk streams under cheap florescent glow. Ambling along the stainless steel halls, Ceilidh makes brief note of the other Team Galactic recruits passing by with a professional smile spread sweet across her pretty pink lips. Like a lamb among lions, Ceilidh keeps her pace brisk when moving through the throngs and the masses. Following an imaginary dotted green line, she gaits down the hallway with lady-like steps, always keeping along repressed to the right-hand side. Dissimilar to many other low ranking recruits, the ruby-eyed girl preferred to stay from the limelight and only ever greeted her superiors with a polite bow and nod of the head. Having little to no aspirations for strength, money, or recognition, she operated under the pretense of weakness, making little effort towards the idea of future promotion. Though limited her authority, Ceilidh found no matter to mind.[break][break] Frankly, Ceilidh thought her current position to be sufficient enough. Away from top brass, she managed to keep her opinions unbiased, and enjoyed every day watching as the world burnt down to ashes. As ill-willed as it all seemed, getting to watch the end of an era was both a unique and interesting opportunity. Really, she mused, for what more could be ask? Humming with subdued satisfaction, she turned the corner with hands folded over just above hip. [break][break] ”Excuse me? I'm sorry for bothering you, but would you happen to know where the resting room is?” [break][break] Ceilidh hardly notices the soft voice chiming below her in monotonous whistle when turning around. With her hands pressed cross beneath her chest, she wonders if for a moment she seemed too unfriendly and readjusts before she replies. [break][break] While batting her lashes, Ceilidh cocks her head slightly to one side and smiles quite sweetly. ”Hm?” her voice is mellow and soothing. Long fingers press gently against her pulled lips. ”Ah well… I certainly don’t mind, but isn’t the resting room rather far?” the Team Galactic recruit takes a break in her speech and forwards the other a look of concern. ”Rather, if I remember correctly, shouldn’t it be on the opposite end of this building?”
even when the sun doesn't shine, even when the rain doesn't come, even when the thunder doesn't roar, will you stay?

Sorry it's late!

Thank the lords that someone had been here when she needed it. Honestly, it was able to put her worries at ease. Now, the only thing was the fact that she so wished that she hadn't looked like a complete and utter buffoon. The woman appeared to be kind enough to give a sweet reply, with her voice rolling off her tongue like newly spun silk. To say the least, the woman standing before her was beautiful. Despite sharing the similar trait of blue locks (with her own having cut short neatly), this woman had bright ruby eyes that stood out like a single light post in an otherwise twilight engulfed roadway.
The teen had to gather her thoughts before replying, catching her baffled self before she could make an even bigger fool of herself. Most often times, she was a rather stoic girl who didn't care much for others nor paid much mind to their appearances. But perhaps this woman just caught her eye and it took the young teen aback. Regardless as to what it was, she personally found it annoying. In attempts to push such thoughts into the back of her mind, Ambrose was able to snap herself back into the conversation she initiated, rather smoothly and naturally as well. A good recovery, nice save on her end.
... However the answer she received just made her feel like an idiot. How could she have ended up on the other side of the building now? Her sense of direction was bad, terrible actually, but you'd think that someone wouldn't get so lost or wander for such a long time. The damn destination was on the other side of the building, which was already hard to navigate through as it was. Sigh.. Personally, she felt as though she were the recruit back on the first day. It was actually cute, with her hesitating to ask for directions from her superiors. Even now, she couldn't tell if people looked down on her for that or not. It'd be no surprise if said members still did, particularly due to her young age that many deem her to be 'inexperienced'.
The grunt could only let out a low, irritated sigh. It was clearly not the answer she was hoping to hear.. But it couldn't be helped now could it? She's been loitering around for that long a time, so there was no doubt that she'd have to take upon some sort of other job by the time she arrived even if this woman accompanied her. Still, it was humiliating on her end to hear that the resting room was on the other side of the establishment. The six-tailed, fox creature didn't appear all that impressed either, narrowing her eyes to her trainer as though in attempts to shoot her a 'really?' type of expression. "Hey.. Don't look at me like that.." She grumbled, bangs shadowing over her own right eye while both were narrowed to her own pokemon. After her brief moment of sulking, she raised her head up to lock in eye-contact with a weak smile. "I.. see. That's shame. But it can't be helped.." She uttered out, with the unintentional disappointment sullying her otherwise sweet soprano voice. She was used to being formal, but sometimes that could come off as odd for someone like her to be speaking in that way. Especially towards someone who wasn't used to it, and at such a young age."Apologies for interrupting you."
This uniform... Penelope ruminated over the fashion statement she had been given to wear. For a group seemingly bent on reshaping the world, she didn't expect subtlety, and yet the outfit looked like some kind of space suit out an old sci-fi movie. It wasn't wholly unpleasant, she'd worn arbitrarily "worse" things. It fit, didn't it? Still though... The emerald haired vixen continued to eye herself in the reflection from one of the immaculately polished sliding glass doors. Every so often this invited a passing glance from the various passing Galactic memembers as they mulled about the building on their business. Occasionally someone would need to move through the door she was using as a mirror. She would politely step out of the way so that they could pass through the door, which would open, and then close, with a satisfying hiss.
Poncho let out a soft chitter and the grassy haired layabout cocked her head toward the little lotad, who was looking up at her quite expectantly. "What?" A more aggressive chitter escaped the creature's bill, which earned him a skeptical half smile from his trainer who squatted down easily and began bobbing gently in place, running a finger around the wide brim of her lotad's sombrero Lilly pad. " I don't speak speak poke`man, Ponch, you're gonna have to-" before she could finish, the lotad leapt from the floor on to his trainers knees, and from there her head, letting out a content chitter once stop her head, resting on her silly locks. "Oh." was all Penny could manage as she softly pat the top of her now occupied head. "Ya know, a hat is exactly what this outfit was missing. Good call, dude. Give a shout if you see anybody who looks like they're not doing anything, I could use some directions..." the lackadaisical lass began to peer around for anyone that didn't look busy, her head mounted lotad swiveling vigilantly, only to let out a series of quack-like noises upon spotting two idle blue haired girls, making a relatively stunning leap from his former position, to the floor, bounding over to them as swiftly as his tiny blue nub legs could carry him, with Penelope in a lukewarm sort of pursuit, casually following the "speeding" pokemon.
The passionately quacking lotad bounded between the two ocean haired ladies, pivoting to face his master while he hopped in place proudly, as if interuppting their conversation was some great accomplishment. "P, you can't just do shit like that, it's rude, dude-" Penny would say chastisingly as she crouched between the two girls (quite rudely of herself) to pick up the lilypad pokemon. "Good hustle though. Proud of you." she'd say as she returned the creature to her head while returning to a standing position. With a relieved sigh the grassy haired girl looked at the two other women, A lazy sort of content grin on her face. "Sorry about that, didn't mean to make a scene... Do either of you know where, like, we're supposed to catch a bite to eat? I'm fricken starving here? And I don't wanna get yelled at for getting shit delivered again, ya know?"
