Silas wasn't very sure how things went around here when it came to meeting one's superiors, but he had left a note for one of the ranger elite, Sasha Bellamy, asking for her to come to the training grounds. He left his signature and rank so they would have an idea for who he was. It may not have been the best of ideas, but he didn't want to go through the trouble of finding her, only to be brushed off like some sort of pest when he made the request. He'd rather it be a little less personal, where she was free to ignore the note Silas left her and it stopped there.
But from what he gathered, Sasha was known to be a really nice presence and personality in the rangers association. He wanted to see for himself, though. He joined to become a ranger, but didn't affiliate with any of them. He just did what was asked of him. This was probably a mistake, and one he would try to rectify by making an acquaintance of Sasha, if not a friend. If she showed up, anyway...
He stood on the end closest to the doors, sitting on a bench where he could see her enter. He wore a plain white shirt, jeans and white shoes. She probably had no idea what he looked like to recognize him sitting there, that is unless she looked up his file. He didn't think the ranger elite would go that far, though, but if she did it would only make this easier.

first impressions
After receiving a letter from one of the new cadets, the golden-haired Elite had agreed to meet with the fellow ranger on the training grounds. Despite her superior title, Sasha never let it get to her head. After all, she remember having to work her up way to the top of the latter, too. It wasn't necessary an easy task, but she had managed to push herself. She was known for her friendly and bubbly personality. However, some of her colleagues viewed her as arrogant. She would admit that she often feels overly confidence in her appearance and talents, but it was never in a way to make the people around her feel least important. At least, she never meant for it to come off in that way. Still, she knew that others would still have their opinions of her rather if the liked her or dislike her. She had learned over time not too care about how other view her, because it wasn't important to her. She would just focus on being the best ranger that she possibly could be and make even make her way up to the highest of ranks in the process.
Sasha had enjoyed a cup of warm tea before making her way towards the training grounds. A soft and melodic tune coming from her mouth as she hummed one of her favorite tunes. A few minutes had passed before the golden-haired beauty had made her way through the doors leading into the training grounds. She was currently wearing her orange Ranger outfit, which was a bit tighter than most of the uniforms that the other rangers chose to wear. It complimented her womanly curves and it even made her starry amber eyes and golden hair to stand out even more. Once inside of the building, her warm amber eyes quickly noticed the sight of a new face. She was quite confident that it was the cadet that had left her the note. A soft smiled curved against her rosy-pink lips as she strutted over towards Silas with such confident and poise.
"Hello there. I'm Sasha. Are you Silas by chance?" She asked standing in front of the young man, her starry-eyes making contact with his eyes for a few seconds as she awaited his answer. She would feel a little embarrassed if it wasn't him. At the same time it was just the two of them inside of the building, so it had to be him. Unless, he was running a little late or changed him mind about wanting to meet up with her today.

'Finally.' Was what Silas thought to himself as the person who looked to be whom he was waiting for had arrived. "Yeah! That would be me. Nice to meet you, Sasha." He was quick to move forward and offer his hand as a kindly gesture. He took in all of her being, including the outfit that was close and snug to her form...she was actually very attractive, and Silas was initially having trouble being respectful and not mentioning anything about it. After all, you were usually supposed to keep personal relations out of the workplace, and hitting on her would do Silas no good.
"I'm sorry if asking you out here was a bother. It's been sort of weird for me here. Ever since I joined, I mean..." He was more than a little worried when it came to getting on her bad side, that was if Sasha had one. "Not many of the rangers seemed to want to introduce themselves or even get to know me. I heard you were one of the kinder elites, so I decided to leave you that note." He swallowed the lump that had begun to form in his throat.
"I was actually wondering if me and you could have...a battle?" He realized now that it may not have been the greatest idea to basically challenge her. As a ranger elite, Sasha probably had plenty of pokemon at her disposal. Silas could only imagine how strong some of them were compared to his own...

Sasha nodded her head and smiled back at Silas. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too." She spoke in a melodic tone as she took his hand and delivered a firm handshake. She allowed her warm, amber eyes to scan over his body for a seconds. "Welcome to the Rangers Headquarters. I do hope that you feel welcomed and have found your place here." She smiled again as she slowly pulled her dainty hand away from him. "I remember being a new ranger. It was pretty overwhelming at first, but the other rangers here really made me feel like a true member of their family." She added, offering some encouraging words.
"Oh no worries. It wasn't a bother at all. I actually enjoy meeting all of the new rangers here." A slight frown soon spread across her face after hearing his next words. "I'm sorry to hear that Silas. Please, do not take offense to their behavior. There has been a lot going on here in the Sinnoh Region. Majority of the rangers are a bit scatter-brained at this point. Give it some time and things will start to come around for you. Meanwhile, I'm here to help you out as much as possible." She explained, resting her hand against his shoulder.
Sasha eyes widen a bit at Silas' challenge. She definitely wasn't expecting a challenge from a cadet. "Hmm, a Pokemon Battle, huh?" She hummed, placing her index finger against her chin. "Normally, I wouldn't accept a challenge from a cadet. I would rather battle against you once you are a lot stronger. However, if you believe that this battle would be beneficial for you then I'm sure that I could reconsider things a bit." She replied with a soft smile.

So there was a bit of unity among the rangers. That was good news. Silas had begun to wonder about this place; it's people. He smiled at her kind words, and Sasha's concern only made him feel more at home. At least in her presence. "I suppose you're right. It's not like they were all that bad, just wasn't what I was hoping for or expected." Maybe Silas just set the bar too high? Who knows. Sasha was alright by him, though, and that was a good start. Enough for him to feel like he actually had a friend among the rangers.
She seemed hesitant to battle, and when considering their difference in rank, Silas nodded in agreement. "Yeah that's true, maybe we shouldn't." His eyes drifted away, wondering what they could do to pass the time then. He called her all the way out here, didn't he? It was pretty lame of him, that the only thing he thought of for them to do was battle.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you join the rangers?" While he genuinely wanted to know, Silas was actually buying time to think about what they could do next.

Sasha smiled as she watched Silas glance away from her for a little bit. The golden-haired beauty only hoped that Silas wasn't disappointed about her declining his offer to battle. Luckily, he had agreed that it would probably be best for the two of them to wait, too. "Don't worry, I'll be sure to take you up on that offer once you become a lot stronger, which probably won't take too long. I can see a lot of potent ion you in already, Silas." She stated in a gentle tone.
"Please come, let's have a seat." She suggested, walking passed him making her way over towards the empty benches. She left the sweet scent of warm vanilla and lavender lingering behind her. Her curvaceous hips and thighs swaying from side to side with each step. She took a seat on the bench and crossed her elongated legs over each other as she waited for Silas to join here. Ah yes, the classic question that all of the new cadets wanted to ask all veteran members. "No, I don't mind answering that question at all. You see when I was younger my father worked as a Pokemon Ranger. He was known to be a well-respected ranger back in during his time. I was fortunate enough to see him fight so valiantly to protect both Pokemon and humans. He taught me a lot about Pokemon. How to train them and how to develop strong bonds with them. My father ended up passing away and I made a promise to myself that someday I would become a brave and loving Ranger like my father someday and that's why I'm here." She smiled at him. "Why did you decide to become a ranger?" She asked curiously.

"Sounds really nice..." Having followed Sasha to the bench, he watched her from behind all the while and listened. Her father sounded like a good man. Unlike Silas' own. Not only that, but his reason for becoming a Ranger was also worse than Sasha's own. Silas struggled as he contemplated whether to give a true answer, or some sort of lie. Either way, he didn't really want to talk about it.
"I mostly joined to prove to myself that I could do some good as a ranger." Silas looked at his hands, which were now held out in front of him, palms bare and open. There was still a lot of guilt in him for that day. Even now, it was too much for Silas to be able to bring it up in conversation. "And you never know if you're good at something until you try, so here I am..." His hands folded together, clasped, fidgeting against each other as Silas glance over to Sasha in hopes that she didn't see through the nervous tension.
"I suppose you're right, though. I've only been here so long, and I already got this far. It's been pretty easy, if I am being honest." This was his attempt to part with that question and pursue another subject. "I've caught a lot of cool pokemon, too, though I am more interested to hear what pokemon you have." His eyes looked into her own, expecting an answer. It wouldn't hurt to do a little bit of 'studying' before their first battle, right?

Sasha's golden eyes followed the new ranger's open hands. He appeared to have been playing with his hand out of nervousness or discomfort. She wasn't completely sure, but she believed that she may have asked him a challenging question or at least a question that he wasn't too keen about answering right now. "Ah, I see." She replied in a soft tone, nodding her head at this words. "You're completely right. There seems to become a lot of passion hidden deep inside of you. You will definitely become a good ranger." She stated gently placing her dainty hand against his shoulder as a comforting smile curved against her lips.
"Oh, you think being a ranger is pretty easy, huh?" She arched her eye brow a bit before giggling just a little. "Just wait until you take on some of the tougher missions." She added, laughing a little more as she removed her hand away from his shoulder. "Oh. I have a Gardevoir, Milotic, Roserade, Ninetales and Dragonite. I recently captured a Luxio, too." She replied with a small smile. "What Pokemon do you carry with you?" She asked him, what to know what cool Pokemon he carried along with him.
