ORIGINS

Born in Sunyshore City, it was quite common for Ezra to meet new trainers seeking to battle the local gym leader. In fact, he even aspired to challenge them himself one day. But kids will be kids, and eventually the local and even foreign trainers bullied Ezra to his breaking point. He nearly gave up becoming a trainer altogether when a stranger dropped into town.[break][break]They weren't your typical trainer, but they battled with a finesse and calculative effort that Ezra had always wished to emulate through his own efforts. Eventually he approached the trainer, and discovered that they were in fact a former Team Galactic grunt.[break][break]

RECRUITMENT

Not long after his childhood ended, Ezra was given a chance to begin his own journey, but he took the advice of the stranger and veered course for Team Galactic. I won't have to join them permanently, he recalled. Just long enough to become a better trainer. That was the advice he'd received from this stranger.[break][break]And yet somewhere along the line, Ezra became engrossed in the Team Galactic rationale. Was it the brainwashing sermons, the sense of community that bound their misfit gang together? Or was it the false gratification of serving a greater purpose that allured him?
