Wind almost makes the slip of paper fly out of her hands-- she can barely read it in the night sky, moonlight the only thing to illuminate the sheet. Waves crash below, two cruise ships are directly underneath her. It's here. A tap on the Staraptor's right side and he banks left, the sound of sharp wings cutting through the wind making almost a whistling sound as it descends. Lena feels her hair pull loose, ponytail ruined as the hairband doesn't hold in the wind. Golden mane falls around her shoulders as the Staraptor reaches ground-- she catches her breath with a sigh, sliding off of the bird, looking back as it takes back to the sky, sharp eyes ready to sound the alarm should something go awry. She would feel more comfortable with ground support, but her pokemon lack the finesse and lithe forms to accomplish such a task.
She enters the woods, waves lapping at the boulders behind her. Moonlight is her only resource, shining on the one tree that's been blackened. It has no branches, no leaves- it's just a stake out of the ground, dead. A glance at the time would confirm her correct arrival- 2155. Early, by five minutes, as she's always intended. She suddenly feels very lost, very cold, and very alone. Skin crawls as that loneliness is amplified, not nullified, by the feeling of all eyes on her.
Yet, she does not cry out. Lena keeps tender lips pursed, should her call summon something that she does not wish to encounter.
