Large, gruff, and imposing does not friends make. Unfortunately for Isaac, looks can be very deceiving. He's never made friends well what with his intimidating stature and that stony, serious face of his. And it doesn't help that for the last twelve years, he's been deep within Kanto acting as a spy within Team Rocket. Since coming back he's found he hardly remembers how to make friends. Everything seems to come across wrong. But this giant is a gentle one, and he has more than enough generosity and patience to go around should he be given the chance. Childhood friends are certainly an option as well, since he grew up in Veilstone before joining the police force and moving away at age eighteen.

Plenty, if you're from the right circles. After so much time infiltrating organized crime, Isaac holds a strong dislike for all criminals regardless of group affiliation. If he has reason to believe you're part of anything from Galactic to Rocket, he'll refuse to do business with you. Unfortunately, in the case of Team Rocket, that animosity goes both ways. Anyone who knew him during his time in the syndicate is bound to know now that he was a traitor, and that the group wants his head for his deeds is why he remains under police protection. Friendly rivalries in the breeding business are a possibility, as well as one-sided dislike -- someone as intimidating as him is bound to be a victim of prejudice.

Isaac has never been in love. Mayhap had a crush or two during his teenage years, but they were long forgotten once he moved to Kanto. Unfortunately, now that he has the time for something like romance, he has no idea how the hell he'd even begin to go about it. Making friends is hard enough already. Still, should he develop a crush, he's bound to turn fast into a bumbling idiot. Proper emotional expression (socially or otherwise) is already a foreign concept to him. Besides that, he has not only strong inner demons but a sense of guilt that encourages a poor sense of what he really deserves -- surely for someone like him, a relationship isn't really in the cards. There's also the fact that should his identity be discovered by the wrong people, any significant other he had would also be in danger, and he feels strongly against dragging anybody else into his own problems. Still, a man has needs, doesn't he? One-night pick-me-ups, one-sided feelings, and mutual romantic drama are all negotiable.
