MISERY WITH TOO MUCH COMPANY

They came and they went. It felt as if there was a new one every three months. Like it was some kind of cycle. A new man to please her. A new father to her future child. Augustus grew up in a family of nine, including himself and his fraternal twin. Three sisters, four brothers and one pitiful excuse for a mother. All different fathers. The woman was an abomination, which was surprisingly fitting for the life he called hell. She could fit right in, just like the rest of the other tools some cruel god tormented him with. All those teachers nagging him, telling him he'll get nowhere in life. The people who'd point him out when they saw him in public and sneer. He hated every last one of them. They could all rot in hell, an even worse hell than him for all he cared. But there was nothing worse than his. This was the lowest you could get.

They all worked, no exceptions. The youngest to the oldest, that being him and his mother. But in reality, was she really the one bringing in the most, trying the hardest? It was him. The one who let his school grades plummet, projects go unfinished and work half done. Taking whatever job he could. Most of the time having multiple at once. He couldn't take it. Being worked to the bone just to keep his hell going. But he kept on doing it. Augustus remained silent. Words would get him nowhere. Everyday was the same for him, he remained silent. Like a slave he did nothing but what his sole purpose was. What they were made to do. Until one day he finally snapped. Took with him some of the money he'd earned and the few belongings he could call his and left. He just walked out without a word. Left his family behind. Though leaving would require him to find a new job, and a new home. A home he would find with Team Galatic, though not entirely agreeing with what they desired, he took the job anyway anything for a bit of cash.

He soon left the organization after a while and joined up with Rocket, for their goals aligned much more.
