Nash grew up in Cyllage city, the only child that his parents had.
From a young age Nash was obsessed with knowledge and learning in general, spending a lot of his younger years reading. Eventually do to this Nash would be placed into more advanced classes in school, skipping a couple grades on the way.
Due to this Nash was bullied by certain kids as he grew up, the bullying only stopping after he fought back and beat up one of the kids. One of his bullies ended up joining the rangers back in his home region, which is where Nash's dislike for rangers came from. That specific bully was one that caused Nash plenty of problems throughout school, even tripping Nash at one point and causing the boy to lose an eye by falling on a stick.
Nash's parents were...well off. While they weren't stinking rich they did have a decent amount of money and even bought Nash his own home after he had left school.
One day his parents had decided that it was time for their baby boy to grow up and cut him off completely. Severing all communication with him and any financial support they were giving Nash. Which led to the man joining running off to another region and joining up with Team Galactic, genuinely believing in the team's views.
