major news alert!
witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
He came back to the start of it all, or near enough anyway.
Orvis wanted to see how far he had come already, so why not revisit this place? The grass, trees and soothing seaside breeze. The trainer loved it here, perhaps he'd move here one day?
Excited, he ventured into the route, knowing that with the amazing team of pokemon he had now, nothing could stand in his way. The thought of them all made him smile, he was starting to think he liked pokemon more than people now, he sure got on with them a lot better...
As they approached, Orvis saw a large boulder blocking a pathway that weaved through the forest area, perhaps he could venture through there? Calling out Aella, he'd get the corsola to use her incredible strength to push the large rock out of the way, allowing him passage through it.
Bending down, he'd pull out an incense from his bag and twist it to let the sweet smell fill the air around him. Hopefully a few cool flying types would appear.

Walking through the trail, it didn't take long before a pokemon made itself known. It could be heard from a while away, the loud buzzing sound from its wings. In fact, it sounded like quite angry buzzing... Orvis was expecting a beedril to appear, but instead was a very unhappy yanma. Orvis wondered why?
"Hey buddy, what's the matter? Having a tough day?"
The trainer withdrew Aella, knowing her rough nature wasn't going to help him in calming the pokemon. Holding out both his hands in the air, Orvis would slowly approach the pokemon and eventually knelt down. Yanma was very curious, staring at him with an angry face still.
"You don't need to worry buddy, I ain't gonna bug ya... Hahaha, get it? Bug?!"
Unfortunately this bug wasn't in the mood for jokes. Screeching, it would dive down and attempt to use wing attack on Orvis, but he quickly ducked down (but was now partially deaf from the screech). Unclipping a pokeball from his waist, he'd send out snorunt who he was excited to train further.
"Hail and blizzard, quickly!"
Snorunt yawned, toddling around as she summond the snowstorm, which rammed into the yanma directly! Already, Orvis could see the ice form along it's body, freezing it solid.
"Woah! Snorunt that was amazing! I've never seen you freeze anything before."
Pretty pleased with herself, the snorunt jumped up towards Orvis, nestling herself within his arms and yawned again. Not wanting to damage the yanma any further, he'd leave it there on the ground. Hopefully that bug would 'cool' off...

Ugh, she was so tired. She had already spent day doing exhausting tasks like napping and sleeping in her pokeball. All Freyja wanted to do was snuggle up somewhere with a nice tasty poffin.
Instead, Orvis had sent her out wanting her to battle a very angry yanma. Yawning, she released the icy power inside of her...
Freyja was thrilled to have seen her blizzard freeze the pokemon! It had never happened before, did this mean she was getting stronger? Squealing with joy, she leapt up to Orvis, knowing just how proud she had made him already.
Freyja used hail ! Freyja used blizzard ! It's super effective !! The opponent Yanma was frozen solid !
Assertive, Orvis made his way deeper through the forest area, passing large rocks and dusty trails. Suddenly, there was a gust of wind and Orvis had to shield his face from all the dirt being blown up in his eyes. Trees shook and many leaves fell from their branches before settling on the earth. Then, in the distance was a pokemon of some wort, falling from a tree after being knocked off balance from the wind.
"Oh no!"
Freyja leapt out Orvis arms, allowing him to sprint forwards and extend his arms outwards to catch the falling pidove. Pulling it closely to his chest, he'd roll along the ground which ended up with him getting a few cuts and bruises. Luckily however, the pidove wasn't hurt at all.
"Woah, good thing I caught you huh?"
Cheeping happily, the pidove made a quick thankful gesture before gently pecking Orvis' hand until it hopped off his lap.
"Pi- Dove!"
Standing boldly, pidove held his head up high as if he were showing off, perhaps making it clear that that little incident was just a one time thing? Laughing, Orvis patted him on the head before standing up.
"Haha, no need to act all brave lil guy, everyone needs help from everybody at some point."
Tilting his head a bit, Pidove made a confused coo sound before ruffling up his wings upon seeing the snorunt, worried it might attack.
"No need to be afraid, Pidove. Me and my pokemon don't tend to attack others at random!"
How curious? Pidove had had his fair share of encounters with trainers, each one unable to catch him thanks to his fine set of moves. But perhaps... Perhaps it was time he did something new? Wait, where was Orvis going?!
Orvis had begun to walk off with Freyja, leaving the pidove behind?! Disgruntled and rather annoyed, he beat his wings and flew as quickly as he could to catch up, pecking Orvis on the head before landing in front of him.
"Pidove!"
"Huh? Didn't you hear? I'd rather not battle you..."
Making a face of annoyance, Pidove dove down before slapping his wing against Orvis bag (which was also filled with pokeballs).
"Wait, you want to come with me?!"
Pidove did a few acrobatics in mid air, chirping happily as Orvis got out a pokeball.
"I'd love to have you join!"

Sometimes, not everyone is calm and friendly, people and pokemon have all been through stages in their lives which can change who they are as an individual, moulding their views and beliefs on the world around them. Orvis wanted to change all that, he wanted to prove to everyone that there will always be good in the end.
"Ducklett?"
Orvis glanced down, seeing a small ducklett staring at him blankly. Small, cute, fluffy and blue, this pokemon seemed completely harmless for sure. But of course, Orvis would often think to nicely of others...
"Hi! Is everything oka- blagh!"
Using feather dance, a whole wave of the pokemons down fluttered into his face as well as Freyja's, both of them spitting out the blue feathers as they coughed and sneezed. Freyja had instantly sprung into action, jumping forwards ready for battle, it seemed her confidence had been boosted and her motivation had increased by quite the amount!
However, this battle looked like it was going to be difficult... Ducklett had followed up her attack with aqua ring, azure waters spiralling around her torso as she flew through the air preparing for the worst.
"Freyja, we need to be careful okay? This one's smart. Start off with hail and double team!"
The storm of ice and snow was whipped up in an instant, followed by the silhouettes of the snorunt as they start multiplying inside the storm. It was already hard to see her with all the hail falling, but now it was going to more difficult not knowing which one she was. This however, did not stop the ducklett.
Her eyes scanned the area well, a glint of passion and fire within her as she tucked in her wings before spreading them wide again - ariel ace. They glowed white before striking through each and every copy before slamming into Freyja. Quickly, she rocketed upwards and sliced her wing downwards creating an air slash which did indeed strike Freyja rather badly.
"Dammit... Blizzard, then use headbutt!"
Freyja's body seemed as though it had risen above the ground, the force of the ice attack spiralling around her small petite form before unleashing forwards like a giant ekans striking a pichu. The impact caused ducklett to fall, bouncing on the ground before Freyja smashed against her (though not very well due to the feathers...).
"Quick Freyja! Get out of there!"
Unfortunately, she had very tiny legs. Doing her very best to hop away, the snorunt successfully dodged an air slash. Then came the ariel ace again.
"Protect!"
Ducklett's wing smashed against the blue force field with such impact that it caused a shock wave to pulsate from the point of contact. Orvis had to cover his eyes as hail was blown his direction, but him and Freyja had to act quick...
"Ice fang!"
Freyja jumped forwards, opening her jaw before clamping down shut on the Ducklett's neck. Luckily, the force was so great that the ice began to spread across its body in a flash. Ducklett collapsed on the ground, unable to move as her beady eyes followed the movement of snorunt as she ran towards Orvis with an excited cry.
"Well done! You're getting better and better with each fight!"
