major news alert!
witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
Orvis was currently doing one of his morning jogs down route 203, it was a lovely area with lush grass and sparkling ponds. In fact, this was where he caught a few pokemon, though he traded them to a few others...
Accompanying him on his run was Slugma, a small fire slug pokemon that was doing rather well in fact. Orvis had left his other pokemon at the pokecentre where they could rest, he had planned ot go out alone today but Slugma was extremely persistent.
As the two carried on running along the path, they'd feel an eerie presence, almost as if they were being watched...
It was just another day in a days work for Nene, just another goddamned day. She was what you called an errand recruit that often was tasked to do the work that the grunts did not want to do. Despite her very well developed and naturally talented battle skills,she was still all but a recruit that was threatened into joining this gang so it was to be expected.
Her day of errands had just ended, as she headed on her way to her next objective, as she noticed something rather odd.Not odd, but unusual. A man with nothing but a single slugma and the cloths on his back jogging by himself. They said that poaching was a team rocket game? They were right and this was to rich for her to pass up. She needed to please her uppers anyway, so stealing this pokemon might prove beneficial to that cause if she presented them it.
How she would go about it? Easy,by abusing the thing that people thought was her biggest weakness,her age. She could play off as an injured and lost girl,move him in and try and stun him when he comes in to help and snatch the fella right outta of his hands,or rather say his waist!
"Ow!", Nene shriekd as she fell forward into the man's visual ranges going into a fetal postion to hid the large R on her uniform so he wasn't alarmed by that as it was a significant giveaway.. Now the big question is, will he take the bait?
As they got further down the path, Orvis noticed a young girl trip and fall to the ground, being the nice caring person he is, Orvis didn't hesitate to run over.
"Hey! I saw you fall, is everything okay?"
He crouched down beside her, not wanting to lift her up in case she had really hurt something, Slugma had got up close too, his heat already warming up the area.
"Does anything hurt? Can you get up?"
Oh no, Orvis hoped she was okay, the last thing he wanted to do was take a trip down to the hospital with a stranger. He then poked his head up, where on earth were the parents of this young girl?
He had taken the bait quite nicely, to the point she almost felt bad for the man she was about to rob. Letting him get in closer to him, to the point she could simply jump up and snatch the pokeball from under his very nose.
"Y-ya...I thi-think I am fine", she said as upset as she could sound as ignoring him might give her away at what she was plotting. She moved her face a bit so he could see her,looking up at him.She however,remained into her fetal postion as not to give away that she was apart of the group that she was.
"I got lost, my friends wh-where in a place called jubi...jubi something", she muttered. Now she awaited for the moment to strike, the moment she would complete her goal.Just like a sneaky slimy snake that she has became.
Well it looked like he might have to stick around a little longer. Orvis looked the eyes, she was quite young to be walking around a route, especially if she didn't have any pokemon on her.
"Hmm, I could help try and find your friends for you? Jubilife isn't far from here. If you want, I can show you the pokemon centre, they could be there?"
Orvis sat down next to her, the pokeball attached to the right side of his hip, the same side that was closest to the girl. Slugma was also slithering around her, curiously sniffing her before making cute yawning sounds.
"N-no I think I could manage! I think.", she said mildly. "I am Natalia Kingsman", she lied giving her the first alias that she could think of. Moving her hand to her inside of her hip,where her two pokeballs were hidden, she took out one and dropped it as quietly as possible as she could see the pokeball in her sight.
Then, in almost a second, a pawniard appeared and pointed it's blade at the man as she grabbed the pokeball from his hip and swiftly returning the slugma before it could respond in order to leave the man defensive.This is of course if he does not respond to her actions that is being dictated.
"Sorry, nothing personal. I do not have a choice", she gave off a forced smile as she turned around to reveal her R on her suit revealing her identity. She was a recruit for Team rocket. She kept the pawniard near the guy in order he tried to retilate and use force that she knew would easily overwhelm her. She slowly took steps back making sure the coast was clear to flee.
Well he was not expecting that! A bisharp jumped from where the girl was curled up, managing to cause Orvis to stumble backwards as a pokeball on his hip was taken from him, following by the withdrawing of Slugma! Not really knowing what was going on, he just laughed at the little girl as if she was playing some kind of game.
Being very very patronising (the girl was young!), Orvis would bend over and smile at Natalia, holding out both his hands while keeping a wary eye on pawniard with its sharp blades.
"Hahaha! Real funny kid. Now why don't you just hand me back that pokeball and I can help you find your friends?"
Yes. Yes, Orvis really was that gullible. even after seeing the big 'R' on the womans top, he still believed she was a little girl that had lost her way. It wasn't because she was good at lying, it was because Orvis was an absolute knuckle head.
[ OOC ] Nene Knight You can just run off in the next post and the thread can end there.
" Oh, don't worry, I will be quite fine finding them in team rockets headquarters", she said impulsively as she was very confused that either he was super ignorant or trying to play around and get her locked up. "I will make sure he has alot of fun fights with me or wherever he ends up", she said assuming slugma was a male pokemon as she was unsure of it.
She turned around and runned away, fleeing towards jubilife, as pawniard soon fleed with her after she had gained some distance that it was safe enough to assume he would not be able to catch up to her and detain her. Her first crime in a stream of ones that she will be in in the future. Well, far from her first but the first one she had done willingly.
The story seemed to move, this chapter merely ended and it was now time for the new chapter.
