even when the sun doesn't shine, even when the rain doesn't come, even when the thunder doesn't roar, will you stay?
WORDS: 000 | Eterna Forest was as quiet and thick as ever it would appear.
In the midst of the shadows, Olivia never seemed to know when not to stop looking unintentionally intimidating. As polite as she was, the fact that she barely spoke was enough to throw just about anyone off. That being said, she thought that the silence of the Forest would be nice. The fact that so many pokemon roamed around in the forests was a huge plus as well, so she had no problem what so ever. Headed to Eterna too. While she would have waltzed on inside the Old Chateau.. Embarrassing as it was, she admitted that she lacked the proper HM to access the area.
Her heels met the ground, gracefully weaving her way through the grass effortlessly while the trees practically paved the path for her. Since the ground was fairly even, she didn't have a problem stomping all over in those boots of hers. The duel-shaded gaze casually stared down her path, but walking was going to take far too long. What was her solution? Simple.
Her head lowered for a moment, tossing out the pokeball that contained Vanilla. The petite pice type happily looked up at Olivia, who pointed at the path before her after scooping up the Vanillite. "Ice beam, please." Her voice was like freshly woven silk, and yet it held the hint of demonic venom in between words. It was normal, because she didn't really know how else she wanted to talk. A beam of white formed from Vanilla's mouth, shooting outwards down the path. Now.. She closed her parasol and used it to launch herself off the end of the ice. Seeing that the path was rather narrow, she was able to use her parasol in the event she needed something to balance off of. The woman was speeding down the forest, all while holding Vanilla in one hand while her eyes were on the search for pokemon at the sides. |

even when the sun doesn't shine, even when the rain doesn't come, even when the thunder doesn't roar, will you stay?
WORDS: 000 | The sounds of the forest passed her while Vanilla was shooting her ice beam. While there were a few bug types who swung on by, none of them really interested the woman as she continued to casually slide down the ice trail in the forest. It was a rather thin ice, so under this sort of heat it would very easily melt after a few moments.
Her attention was captured by a singular grass type pokemon, donning something that looked like a golden crown atop it's little head for a body. A Cacnea.. A little creepy looking in her opinion, but the glare that it gave her intrigued the woman just enough to halt Vanilla. While she didn't speak much to other people, pokemon were a completely different story. "Why hello there love." She greeted, stepping off the ice trail and halting Vanilla. Preferably, she'd catch the Cacnea without the hassle of battling. While Vanilla was itching for a battle Olivia was trying to be civil with it. Didn't want to go catching the poor thing against it's will.. So let's twist it's mind up. Cacnea was putting up a defensive stance, preparing for any attacks.
"Surely, you're lonely aren't you?" The woman's voice was as sweet as the strawberry pink, however her gaze really wasn't faltering. Such a disarming tone actually mad Cacnea waver for a moment, and she was able to pick up that it was quite the weak-willed creature. Poor thing. She was trying to tempt the Cacnea. And well.. Who could blame her? Sugar coating like this was usually enough to lure in any naive, gullible creature that was unfortunate enough to come across Olivia. All of a suddenly she felt a breeze stirring and sand suddenly surrounding the grass type! For once, her eyes widened a tad in shock and quickly hopped backwards to avoid the sand. Sand veil.. Two can play this game.
"Hail." Olivia swung her parasol to the side, her duel gaze narrowing to almost glare at the Cacnea. The ice began overriding the sand, pelting the Cacnea and hurting it quite a bit. The strong fabric from the parasol saved her, seeing that she used a very thin and flexible layer of metal to support it. "I hate to play these games.. But I promise that we can meet a compromise, love." Cacnea still appeared persistent and reluctant, prompting a soft sigh from the woman. She really hated to waste time on this annoying pokemon, but she had a good feeling about it. "Ice beam." She commanded briefly, and Vanilla shot out a freezing ray that chilled. Being super effective on the grass type, it took hefty damage mixed with the pelting of the ice.
Olivia grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the little guy, shaking quite a few times before clicking. The hail dissipated after said battle, and her full, peach lips curved into a smile. "You didn't have a choice, sweetheart. Oh don't worry, I'll treat you accordingly~"
That being done, she hopped back onto the ice trail while Vanilla proceeded to create her path. |

even when the sun doesn't shine, even when the rain doesn't come, even when the thunder doesn't roar, will you stay?
WORDS: 000 | Like the many grass types that popped up, there were many bug types as well. Oh, the annoying little critters.
Much as she loved these little bugs, some of them just didn't tickle her fancy. Such that when she found a Burmy hanging from the tree, she simply ignored it and chose to continue on her way down the ice path. And so she left, with the Burmy sadly crawling back into it's tree like the good bug it was. There were other pokemon who caught her eye, and yet she didn't even bother to stick around to pay more attention than she should be. "Vanilla, should we try speeding up?" The woman asked her Vanillite, who already got the hint and stopped with the ice beam. Instead.. Olivia hopped off that little trail of ice, while Vanilla hopped off in front of her.
Quickly, the woman opened up her lovely little parasol that could literally save her in the majority of weather conditions. "Hail." And with that, Vanillite created a hailstorm in their vicinity over the Eterna forest. All to lure the pokemon out of their hiding and search for proper shelter. Hiding in bushes weren't going to save you, after all.
Was she being a bit too mean to the pokemon around? Eh.. Possibly. But it was only until she found a pokemon, and it's not like it was going to kill them so who cares? |
