major news alert!
witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
Orvis ran around as fast as he could, stumbling and tripping as his moody corsola chased after him. He thought it would be a good idea for the two to bond after he caught her, but so far all Aella wanted to do was fight him, or anything for that matter. Even when he first encountered her, she was violent and stroppy, not once did her angry face change. Even now, she’s just permanently filled with rage.
“Aella! Please!”
The small coral pokemon leapt forwards, her hard body slamming into Orvis’ back and knocking him forwards into a muddy puddle. Aella enjoyed this very much, grinning at her successful tackle. Then, she went after him again.
Aella laughed menacingly, she was enjoying this more than she should. Orvis on the other hand was completely out of breath, unable to shout or move any further. But just as the corsola was about to pounce onto of him again, a spray of seeds hit corsola before sprouting small vines all across her body. Aleech seed move.
Orvis swung his head over to see a shroomish perched on top of a rock, then it leaped off and dived into Aella, tackling her away from Orvis. Oh no, this shroomish was in fact protecting Orvis from Corsola. Orvis couldn’t help but laugh out loud, wiping a tear from his eye as he stood up.
“Well Aella, this is what happens when you decide to attack me for no reason.”
But Aella wasn’t listening to her trainer, instead her rage filled eyes were fixed on Shroomish. Poor grass pokemon had no idea what it had started. Let’s just hope it doesn’t end too badly. Not bothering to listen to Orvis, she began the fight by activating her aqua ring, luminescent water shimmering around her body. The branches on her back then shimmered silver before releasing a series of large spikes towards Shroomish, impaling her badly with spike cannon.
But the pain on the wild pokemon’s face quickly faded as the leech seed sapped health from Aella. Then, jumping over Corsola, it would release a puff of yellow stun spores which paralysed the coral pokemon and jumped forwards with headbutt.
Aella winced at the attacks, her body quivering from the paralysing effect that took hold of her body. She attempted to attack, but still she couldn’t move.
“Aella! Use recover, quickly!”
His pokemon listened to Orvis and let her cells mend themselves as she healed herself. But the shroomish just headbutted her again, followed by a tackle. Luckily, Aella was firm as a rock, and barely budged this time thanks to her short stocky frame.
“Spike canon! Then use bubble beam!”
Corsola listened to him, knowing she was in a bit of trouble if she decided to do her own thing. Again, spikes sliced into Shroomish as well as a barrage of bubbles. Then she got ready to prepare for the attack about to come, but instead she watched a pokeball fly over her head and connect with Shroomish.

Aella wasn't mean or horrible, just misunderstood. She wasn't trying to hurt her trainer, just show him who's boss! That's right, someone needed to put themselves in charge around here, she doesn't want a trainer to boss her around. She shivered, her last trainer was horrible to her, always mistreating her. Well this time it would be different, this time she would make sure nobody hurt her again!
She stopped in her tracks just as she was about to tackle Orvis again. A strange tingling sensation started spreading across her body, then she realised she had been wrapped in a leech seed.
Ugh, how frustrating. Aella was in no mood to hear any life lessons from this trainer, instead she was more concerned about beating the crap out of this pokemon.
Time for pain!
Aella was hit by leech seed ! Aella was hit by tackle! It't not very effective... Aella used aqua ring ! Aella used spike cannon ! Aella was hit by stun spore ! Aella is paralysed ! Aella was hit by head butt! It't not very effective... Aella used recover ! Aella was hit by head butt ! It't not very effective... Aella was hit by tackle ! It't not very effective... Aella used spike cannon ! Aella used bubble beam!
Well that was quite a stressful battle. Orvis slowly walked over to the pokeball before picking it up and putting it in his bag. He glanced down to Aella, who was huffing and puffing and was also still paralysed.
Sighing, Orvis knelt down beside the coral pokemon and pulled out a full heal, a little yellow spray bottle that could heal any status. Perhaps if he used it to help Aella she would start to trust him more. Hopefully.
“Okay Aella, just let me spray this on you okay, you’ll feel better I promise.”
At first, Aella was hesitant, almost growling at him as he started spraying. Then she sighed, letting the medicinal remedy heal her paralysis. Within a few seconds, she felt like she could move again, yet still showed no signs of thankfulness and just turned around to face the other direction.
At least she wasn’t trying to hurt him again.
“Dod, dod, dod, doduo!”
In the distance, emerging from a bunch of trees was a small doduo pecking at the ground. Orvis always found this pokemon incredibly peculiar, the way it had two brains and different personalities. Aella on the other hand was already pretty pumped up for this fight, she had started to userecover already to heal herself.
“Okay Aella, let’s do thi-”
“DUO!”
Aella was knocked back by an incredible quick attack from the duo headed bird pokemon. Not even leaving Aella time to get up, they had started with a fury attack and started viciously clawing at Corsola.
“Spike canon! Quickly!”
Spikes launched from Aella’s body and into the air, only to curve around and impale Doduo from behind, making it jump back and create some distance.
“Now use bubble beam!”
Corsola released a jet of bright blue bubbles towards Doduo, hitting its feet and tripping it up onto the ground. But this little birdy wasn’t too happy by that, using uproar, it started releasing painful shrieks and squawks at Aella, the shockwaves pushing her back a little.
“Use spike canon to kick up some dust around Doduo! Then dive in with tackle!”
Large spikes slashed into the wild pokemon, a few of them hitting the ground around it and shrouding it in dust. The uproar was still in effect however, growing louder by the second. As the dust cleared and Doduo began to see clearly again, Corsola would jump in and tackle the pokemon to the ground, knocking it out cold.

Well, I guess she can't decide who her new trainer catches. But she definitely wasn't too keen of this new pokemon. An ugly little mushroom.
Orvis approached her, she would've slammed into his foot but unfortunately she still couldnt move. She then started to panic, he was about to pull something out his bag, maybe a whip to hurt her just like the girl that used to own her.
But instead, it was just a small yellow spray. Aella hated letting people help her, but she knew it was for the best. But this certainly didn't make him any better than the others!
Her stubby little legs wobbled side to side as she turned around, pouting with her eyes closed. She didn't even need his help, Aella was an independent pokemon that didn't need no man.
Then she saw the doduo. It's little heads pecking at the ground as it minded its own business, oh this should be very fun indeed.
Aella used recover ! Aella was hit by quick attack! It't not very effective... Aella was hit by fury attack x5 ! It't not very effective... Aella used spike cannon ! Aella used bubble beam ! Aella was hit by uproar ! It't not very effective... Aella used spike canon ! Aella was hit by uproar ! It't not very effective... Aella used tackle !
"Okay Aella, I think you should definitely rest up now. Two fights in a row like that must be pretty exhausting for you."
As Ovrvis pulled out her pokeball to return her, she'd shoot a few bubbles at him to knock it out. It seemed she wasn't done yet, there was still plenty of fight left in her. The trainer shrugged and laughed, putting the pokeball back in his pocket.
"You just don't give up do you? Well then, don't just stand around. Let's get moving!"
After walking for a good 10 minutes, the two of them finally came across a pokemon. A small burmy sleeping soundly from a tree branch. It was adorable, in fact, Orvis started to wonder if this kind of pokemon was difficult to come across.He had to try and catch it.
"Okay Corsola, use tackle then spike cannon..."
Stealthily, Corsola would shuffle into position and with a deep breath, jump upwards and slam into the bug. It didn't knock it off however, the grip was quite tight. Then, spikes blasted out but instead of hurting the burmy, it had used protect to shield itself.
"Darn!"
The wild pokemon then shimmered with a strange white light before firing a brown orb of energy at corsola, knocking her back a bit but not doing a lot of damage.
"Bubble beam and Spike canon! Quickly!"
Aella did as he said, both attacks hitting Burmy and knocking it off the branch. Orvis would grab one of the remaining pokeballs he had left and toss it forwards. A new member to the team.

No no no! Corsola wasn't backing down now! She had to prove how tough she was, showing any signs of weakness would mean Orvis would be mean to her!
She sprayed a few bubbles at him, making it clear that she wasn't going anywhere. The trainer seemed to understand this and laughed, what was so funny?
Either way, she got what she wanted. Now, where's the next pokemon?
