Introductions

Honestly, Matt can't remember much about his mother nd father. As a young boy, he was mostly taken care of by his grandparents in Sunyshore city, being that his mother worked in a private hospital and his father was a Pokemon detective. From what he knows his father was killed in the line of duty and his mother retreated to the Hoenn region to restart her life, along with his younger sister leaving Matt with his grandparents. At fifteen he made the decision to leave his grandparents and took his chances at becoming a Pokemon champion, a foolish dream of a naive child. Though only a few weeks out he had already been hindered by hardship and poverty. Though he wasn't alone at the time, his grandfather's Pokemon at his side.[break]



Despite having a Pokemon of his own, Matt didn't have many allies in the city, he would make change through odd jobs, but still struggled to find a solid home. He and his Bagon would often battle for fun, but would find defeat due to their lack of chemistry he would crash and burn in battle. This persisted until he wandered outside of the city and with an assist from his Pokemon captured an ill-mannered Torchic. With two Pokemon at his side, both filled with a vast amount of potential he managed to scrape up heavier jobs, bodyguard work, dirty jobs, and even went on aa short crime spree in helping people 'obtain' their lost Pokemon. There wasn't a job he would refuse, often persuaded by sob stories and promises of 'favors' and small pay.[break]



As of late, the small time blue collar criminal had taken up a deal with team galactic. As far as universal domination was concerned, he didn't care much, in fact, he would often find himself asleep at grunt briefings, but they gave him a place to stay and kept him well fed, so he couldn't complain. Does he care if they hurt the innocent? Yes, but he realizes that he can't let personal feeling overshadow his new career, no matter how filthy.
