1. Taar's actual love for pokemon and their safety developed a lot faster during the period being her father's doer. It took buckets of tears to catch and soon put them in the hands of that man. In a way, she traded the lives of those innocent creatures for her family and she constantly asks herself if it was, in fact, the only thing she could've done.
2. Her empathy for doomed souls is a lot, like a lot more than her personality and job shows.
3. She takes care after others and forgets about herself, usual stuff.
4. Taar is scarce of hope. Her goal is to simply do good, redeem herself of everything she's done.
5. Has in fact been tortured both mentally and physically, can hide injuries pretty well. Her make up skills developed throughout the countless times she had to erase some bruises and the permanent numerous scars.
6. Gerald does business with Team Galactic and ever so often drags her into it.
7. Is extremely cautious around others.
8. Had a trainer whom inspired her to pursue even harder to develop fighting skills, but mostly it was required for the missions she did for Gerald.
9. Appreciates any type of pokemon.
10. During any type of mission for Gerald, she uses a red scarf and a brown lens to hide her identity. Gerald only calls her by the name he gave her early on: Venus.
11. Has an eye mutation called sectoral heterochromia. Basically her iris has two colors: pink and light blue.
12. Does not like to battle with her pokemon for selfish purposes such as tournaments. And does not uses her team during any of Gerald's missions, only ranger's ones.

IF BROKENNESS IS A WORK OF ART

Taar had little to no memories of Vermillion City, where she was born, due to the rapid departure of her mother sided with her two children, one of which was the soon to be ranger. Overall, her childhood remained on the remarkable small streets of Solaceon Town, chasing after pokemons that ignored common courtesy and simply started taking berries from her land. Of course, she would’ve given it to them if only they'd asked, she’d cry out her hurt feelings to her mother. Calm by nature, she never rushed onto decision making, but as she considered dreams to be an exception to the rule, seeing that hers was to become a ranger. A ranger's a person who gives berries to pokemon everyday, so they don't have to steal, whilst protecting them 24/7, as summarized by a seven year old ranger wannabe.
[break]Jessica Godfrey, Taar’s mother as well as Maria’s (the youngest), moved back to Sinnoh after her own mother’s demise. The land she inherited, with the typical rich soil of the village of Solaceon, became their home. She got herself up to date on the finances and continued the Godfrey’s legacy throughout the years. Responsible for two souls and an entire business, Jessica turned to be Taar’s biggest heroine, being the one whom took her in and guided her way to decent life. Martial arts and gardening may sound like opposites to others, but to the young ranger it was most of her day, partially her mom's fault since she introduced the process of planting to the kid, except when she ate or showered. The thought of protecting others grew heavier on her heart as she skilled herself to succeed on her future lifestyle.
[break]The family of three just mentioned were an enormous part of Taar’s life, however the curious queries of a missing parent turned out even though they never left Taar’s insights. The first contact she had with her biological father was at the entrance of their land. To this day it is unknown to her mother and sister of their father/daughter relationship, a most definitely unwanted one. The tortuous path started at the age of 10. Gerald acted like he had been a paternal figure during all those missed years, like he was missed at all. Except the harshness came from a man who was interested in more than joyful words traded, like normal people would.
[break]During the first years under the influence of the sadistic man, Taar obeyed his commands. Mostly, she perceived others into his traps, the sweet look on eyes that resembled flames (ones she hoped people would notice before it was too late). The wronged acts broke her innocence in days, the following ones made her ache with rage, but the time she fought threat to threat; she realized the book of blackmails he had written and the long list of wrong doings belonging to her own.
[break]Next up, for when she turned 15, her task was to catch the pokemons only on her surroundings just so it wouldn’t tip off her targeted family. She was, secretly, given a pokemon of Gerald’s trust to aid her in her mission. It meant she had to control a raging creature, quite similar to what she had been doing with herself during the times he had her under his wing. After the time she had been allowed to have practicing, she gained enough experience on the deep forest to recognize a strong pokemon and gift it to the man. With each catch she regretted her first choices and the delivery caused her heart to break to many times, it was crushed into dust.
[break]Somewhere between, both made a deal. She would continue to pursue a Ranger career (in which now was the last thing she wished for) and still obey every request he made. She had disguised herself to a shy soul, keeping questions from her mother and sister at a bare minimum. She conquered a Ranger position, but her past actions were to show she wasn’t the person to be entitled with those creature’s lives.[break]
