YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD TRAINER

So it all started when Sylvester's parents wanted him to be a pokemon trainer, just like them. So he did just that, but he didn't really want to become a trainer. Sylvester actually wanted to be a ranger, but his father had a friend who died while working as a ranger, so he told Sylvester he couldn't become a ranger until he collected all eight of the gym badges Sinnoh had to offer.

So, Sylvester being the arrogant little bastard he was took up the challenge, being rather competitive in his youth. He went through general schooling, and basically knew just about everything there was about pokemon, but studied them some more anyways. He also learned a lot about the Sinnoh region in a whole, becoming that much more confident when it came to acquiring all eight of the badges.

However, once Sylvester got older, he realized he liked being a trainer. He was free to do whatever he wanted, and there was no set time to do it. He's started to realize why his parents wanted him to be a pokemon trainer, and is keen on challenging all the gyms, and perhaps even the elite four. He toys the idea of becoming Sinnoh's champion, but doesn't take the goal seriously, as his pokemon are currently no match. Regardless, he works hard to find his way closer to the top with every passing day.
