witness reports from all over the region has been flooding in about strange happenings at the three lakes. what's more perplexing is that these occurrences seem to be happening spontaneously at the lakes. just moments ago, a burst of light erupted at the locations and residents in the vicinity have reported that the lake-side pokemon have turned aggressive and attack on sight.
However, there have been rumours and sightings of the legendary lake trio which has had trainers flocking in from all over the region.
“Pfft, Daddy always thinks I’m such a little girl. I’m grown up, I can handle things myself now y’know?”
“Noiii.”
Trixie gave her a friendly response, backing her up as she flew next to her with a grin on her cute purple face. Eretria was thankful to have such a good companion, always supporting her even if she didn’t understand what she was saying half the time, still, it was nice to get the odd squeak of joy from her. But she knew today wasn’t going to be all about Trixie. Gino was going to come out and help today, with all his… Special talent.
“Ugh, okay Gino. Come on out.”

Gino wasn't fun or exciting, not like the noibat that his trainer seemed to adore. Gino was just tossed to one side only to be used when Trixie was too tired.
But today, today would be different. Gino was going to do everything he could to show just how amazing he is. The little gulpin was going to tackle down everything in his path!
Gino stood in front of Eretria, wobbling around as he watched Trixie fly around in the air. Eretria always found it strange how he got distracted so easily, never mind, she just had to teach him to behave.
“Listen up! Gino, I’m going to make sure you pull your weight around here. No more slacking off for you. Daddy says if I put in enough effort, you’ll help me back. Got it?!”

Gino didn’t respond, instead he was busy looking at a pokemon perched atop of a tree. It was a small meowth, licking its paws as it stood elegantly on top of a tree branch. At the moment, it didn’t seem too interested in the grunt and her pokemon, not for long anyway.
“Aha! Easy target, use toxic and sludge bomb!”
Gino hurled back before spraying a purple gunk all over the Meowth, leaving it dirty and poisoned. Before the wild pokemon could comprehend what had just happened, a pile of filth slammed into it and knocked it off the branch and onto the ground.
“See! Not so bad after all is it?”
“Gulpiin!”
But it was too early to celebrate, the Meowth had come leaping forwards using growl before slicing its claws into Gulpin with scratch. The poison type yelped and rolled backwards, hiding behind Eretria.
“For crying out loud, you aint gonna win like this!”
The galactic grunt grabbed Gulpin by the tail and tossed him forwards, making him bounce across the ground.
“Stock pile, then spit up!”
Gulpin did as she said, building up nutrients before hurling it forwards at Meowth. The poison also dug away at its health, leaving it knocked out cold.

Ooo what was that? Gino was too busy looking at the pokemon up in the tree to listen to Eretria. He always found it so interesting observing different pokemon doing their own thing.
Gino jumped at the sound of his trainers screeching. She was always so loud and abrupt, but he definitely had to show how good he was!
Listening closely to the orders, he'd spray all his poisonous goodness at the cat.
he had to do his very best!
Gino was used toxic ! Gino used sludge bomb! Gino was hit by growl ! Gino was hit by scratch ! Gino used stock pile ! Gino used spit up !
Unfortunately for Gino, there was no little celebration for him after his victory. Eretria didn’t come rushing to him to give him a congratulating hug, instead, a natu came swooping down and pecked the gulpin on the head before using lucky chant and shrouding itself in a golden mist.
“Okay Gino! This is good practice, you won’t get much time to celebrate, puddin! Just keep fightin’ on!”
Gino was exhausted already, he just wanted to go back inside his pokeball and sleep, not fight all the time. But he made a promise to himself today that he’d work hard and become stronger, he had to keep that promise.
“Right Gino! Use toxic then stockpile!”
Poisonous gunk slathered across Natu in midair, poisoning it badly before Gino gathered up on energy. The natu was quite shocked by the quick retaliation and dived down, a gust of dark ominous winds blasting behind it as it slammed into Gino, followed by a peck as it flew overhead.
“Keep using stockpile!”
Gino did as Eretria commanded, storing up energy and boosting his defence against the wild pokemon. Hopefully this would all pay off towards the end. But Natu came diving down like a bullet, pecking at Gino repeatedly, but before it could fly off away from Gino, Eretria would shout the next commands.
“Now Gino! Spit up!”
The gulpin new this was coming, his body swollen from the energy, he released a huge beam of energy from his mouth, the light blasting the natu straight out of the sky.
“Now that’s how you knock ‘em out cold, sugar!”

Gino was hit by peck ! Gino used toxic! Gino used stockpile ! Gino was hit by ominous wind ! Gino was hit by peck ! Gino used stock pile ! Gino used stockpile ! Gino was hit by peck x2 ! Gino used spitup !
Eretria continued walking down the route accompanied by her two pokemon, Trixie who was flying above her and occasionally clung on her shoulder when they stopped and Gino who wobbled around everywhere with the most disturbed look on his face.
Eventually, the trio came upon a mound of dug up earth with a small bunnelby burrowing a home for itself. She was working rather hard, using those big ears to scoop up the dirt and toss it away. Luckily, she hadn’t noticed the trio, so it was the perfect opportunity for Gino to attack.
Eretria knelt down beside him, resting her shoulder on his back as she whispered in his ear (if he even had ears).
“Okay dumplin’, I want you to throw the biggest sludge bomb you got at it. Then start using stock pile.”
Eretria backed away, watching as Gulpin rocked back and forth as it started building up poison in his mouth.
“Gul… PIN!”
Poisonous purple sludge soared threw the air, slamming down on the bunnelby with a satisfying splat sound. The pokemon jumped up, shaking its head before using mud shot on Gino…
Poor gulpin had no chance, the bullets of mud slammed against him and knocked him out quite fast. Eretria sighed, shaking her head as she returned the fainted pokemon.
“Okay Trix, clean up his leftovers will ya?”
The noibat squealed with excitement, flying forwards before using super fang and tossing the pokemon to the side with hurricane. Looks like Gino needed a little bit more training.
