WE ARE THE CHOSEN ONES

saffron was a city of life, but one that had very little life inside it, and the first lesson she learned cam from it's core: to never forgive, and even if you do, to never forget.

it was hard being a street kid, worse looking after another five, five faces she's always remember, and never quite know when she'd lost them all. saffron held the greatest pleasures to only those who were born into them, for the rest there were the slums, ever the home and ever the teacher to any who paid enough attention.

the second lesson was to never become your enemy.

five faces became four, and naomi trudged on, the winter came, and she knew she could never take the chance as that girl had, she could never abandoned the world she knew for a world she didn't. after all, that world had betrayed her too long ago, and she hadn't forgiven it. this was her home now, and she'd do good to remember.

third lesson: humility.

there are battles you can't win, monsters you can't slay. but no matter how deep down the dirt you're shoved, keep your head held high and never forgive, never forget. hold on to that revenge, and even if you can't remember the face, remember the feeling they made you feel, and use that as your blade.

and the forth lesson was to be loss, loss and all its teachings.

the first being you can always do better, be better. always change and adapt to evolve to survive. fidn flaws in everything and fix them immediately. change yourself, change the world. the second, pain. excruciating pain, losing someone so close to you. don't let people in, and once you do, don't let them die. leanr how to cope, close yourself off and start again. good things come to those to work.

WE FIGHT FOR HONOR

with those lessons behind her, and more she cares little to reveal, naomi finds her her first and only home in team rocket. loyalty is a cheap price for a chance to recreate and eradicate the wrong doings of the world. pokemon are friends, but they are tools in the end as everything else is, tools to build a dream in reality, and utopia in madness.

in the end they're sweet words to fill her empty heart, but actions speak louder than words. and naomi, above all, is someone who knows that. she's learned to trust even rocket's reality and holds it in higher regard than the delusions that others seem to believe in. after all, where were the rangers during the fall of kanto, her homeland? where were the people of the world that betrayed her, when she'd finally given up hope?

but in exchange for that old hope, she'd gained a new one. after all, hope never dies-- it's remade, reworn, and mended anew, and it is her favored weapon. a sword of hope.

-wants to make a world where she's happy: a selfish dream, at heart, but her happiness includes the happiness of team rocket and its members. all she really wants to do is end poverty because of all the things she's seen it make people do.

-used to read a lot, and despite being on the streets she'd pick up anything and read it. now that she has an ok living she likes reading anything, from children's stories to novels.

-when she was young, and maybe even now, all she wanted was to find a prince charming, start a family and forget about the world. loves children with her whole heart.

-she'd sooner die than break her code, and can be naive in that regard, or even considered weak. but in her own words, if having ethics is weakness, then do you consider madness to be strength?

-likes gardening, and has a naturally green thumb. is also an excellent cook.
